The British Muslim Forum is a non-governmental Islamic organization of Barelvi movement of Sunni Muslims which represents 500 Mosques across the United Kingdom. Muhammad Imdad Hussain Pirzada is the current Secretary of the organization. [1] [2]

Fatwa issued 2005 in response to the London bombings

On behalf of over 500 clerics, scholars and Imams the British Muslim Forum issues the following religious decree:

Islam strictly, strongly and severely condemns the use of violence and the destruction of innocent lives. There is neither place nor justification in Islam for extremism, fanaticism or terrorism. Suicide bombings, which killed and injured innocent people in London, are haram - vehemently prohibited in Islam - and those who committed these barbaric acts in London are criminals not martyrs. We pray for the defeat of extremism and terrorism in the world. We pray for peace, security and harmony to triumph in multicultural Great Britain. [11]

Gul Mohammad, the then, secretary-general of the BMF, quoted the Koran saying: "Whoever kills a human being ... then it is as though he has killed all mankind, and whoever saves a human life it is as though he had saved all mankind. [12]

Muhammad Arshad Misbahi, or Allama Maulana Hafiz Imam Muhammad Arshad al-Misbahi is the Chair of Al-Karam Scholars Association and has served at Manchester Central Mosque from 1997 to 2015 as the Khatib, Imam and Headteacher. He is a graduate from the Islamic Seminary Al Jamiatul Ashrafia. He is considered by many to be among the knowledgeable scholars of his time.

Majlis-e-Tahaffuz-e-Khatme Nabuwwat is the programmatic name of a Pakistani Barelvi organization and Islamic religious movement in Pakistan aiming to protect the belief in the finality of prophethood of Muhammad based on their concept of Khatam an-Nabiyyin. It was founded by Mohammad Abdul Ghafoor Hazarvi in 1950 with Zafar Ali Khan, Abdul Hamid Qadri Badayuni, Khwaja Qamar ul Din Sialvi, Syed Faiz-ul Hassan Shah, Ahmad Saeed Kazmi, Abdul Sattar Khan Niazi, Pir of Manki Sharif Amin ul-Hasanat, Muhammad Karam Shah al-Azhari, Sardar Ahmad Qadri and Muhammad Hussain Naeemi. Later on the prominent Barelvi leaders Shah Ahmad Noorani, Shaikh ul Quran Allama Ghulam Ali Okarvi, Pir Muhammad Alauddin Siddiqui, Muhammad Shafee Okarvi, Syed Shujaat Ali Qadri, Iftikharul Hasan Shah and Khalid Hasan Shah also joined them to oppose the Ahmadiyya Movement.

Pir Syed Jamaat Ali Shah was a Pakistani author, Islamic scholar and Sufi saint of the Naqshbandi Order. He presided over the All India Sunni Conference and led the Movement for Shaheed Ganj Mosque. He was a contemporary of Ahmed Raza Khan Barelvi, the founder of Barelvi movement.

Mohamed Ahmed Qadri is a Pakistani political scientist having served as the Dean Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences and Dean Faculty of Islamic Studies at the University of Karachi in Pakistan. Qadri is the former Vice Chancellor of Nazeer Hussain University in Karachi. He is an educator, political scientist, founder of Islamic Educational and Cultural Research Center North America and has authored several books about Islam in the contemporary world.

Muhammad Waqaruddin Qadri also known as Waqar-e-Millat was an Islamic scholar associated with the Sunni Barelvi movement of south Asia. His fatawa (rulings) are compiled in three volume of the book titled Waqar ul Fatawa. He taught and administered in Islamic institutes in India, Bangladesh and later in Pakistan. He was conferred title of Grand Mufti of Pakistan during Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq regime.

Zia ul Mustafa Aazmi Qadri Razvi Amjadi is an Indian Islamic scholar, teacher, orator, debater, Muhaddith and Faqih and is currently serving as Naa’ib Qaazi ul Quz’zat fil Hind under Mufti Asjad Raza Khan, who is considered to be the Grand Mufti Of India by the Barelvi movement.

Muhammad Ibrahim Raza Khan Qadri Razvi (1907–1965), commonly known as Mufassir-e-Azam-e-Hind and Jilani Miyan, was an Indian Islamic scholar, Sufi mystic, orator, author, and leader of Sunni Muslim’s Barelvi movement of Sunni Islam in the Indian subcontinent. He was the elder brother of Hammad Raza Khan.

Muhammad Alauddin Siddiqui was an Islamic Sufi scholar and social personality.
