Brooksville Cemetery is a historic graveyard in Brooksville, Florida. It was acquired by the City of Brooksville in April 1887 and was known as Chocochattee Cemetery. Originally 5 acres, it is now 51.5 acres, and is located at 1275 Olmes Road near the junction of State Road 50 and 50A. The oldest marker is for Jane Hope who died at age 30 in 1845. She was the wife of settler William Hope. Settlers killed by Seminole Indians. The cemetery includes 5,000 burial sites and includes both Confederate and Union veterans from the Civil war, veterans from the Spanish–American War, World Wars I and II veterans, Korean War veterans, Vietnam veterans and veterans from more recent conflicts. The park occupies 375 acres (152 ha) and includes trails for jogging, hiking, bicycling, and horseback riding. These trails connect with the Withlacoochee State Trail. The park also has fields for baseball, basketball, volleyball and horseshoes as well a picnic areas and a playground.

It is located at 133 South Brooksville Avenue. The Colonial Revival architecture house has two-story columns. It is part of the South Brooksville Avenue Historic District.
Bethlehem Progressive Baptist Church was a historic church founded for African Americans in Brooksville, Florida. It was built in 1861 at 661 South Brooksville Avenue. Fort Taylor Cemetery served the community. The church's historical site is a stop on the Florida Black Heritage Trail. Bethlehem Baptist Church is now at the site.
Pemberton Ferry, later renamed Croom, is a ghost town in Central Florida near Brooksville, Florida, and Ridge Manor, Florida. A rail line came to Pemberton Ferry in 1884. It was a rail stop by the Withlacoochee River just north of where the I-75 bridge over Croom-Rital Road and Withlacoochee State Trail is today.
Pioneers Rest is the oldest public cemetery in Fort Worth, Texas and one of the oldest in Tarrant County. Its use as a burial ground began in the summer of 1850, shortly after the fort was established by the United States Army.
