Bryan J. Sievers (born May 26,1959) is an American farmer and politician.
Born in Davenport,Iowa,Sievers lived with his family in Stockton,Iowa. He graduated from Bennett High School. Sievers received his bachelor's degree from Iowa State University. Sievers lived in New Liberty,Iowa and was a farmer. Sievers served on the Bennett Community School Board. Sievers served in the Iowa House of Representatives from 2001 to 2003 and was a Republican. He then served in the Iowa State Senate from 2003 to 2005. [1] [2]

John Orus Bennett III is an American former politician from New Jersey. A member of the Republican Party, he served as a state senator, and between 2002 and 2004, as president of the state senate. Bennett served as acting governor of New Jersey for four days in January 2002.
Henry Cantwell Wallace was an American farmer, journalist, and political activist who served as the Secretary of Agriculture from 1921 to 1924 under Republican presidents Warren G. Harding and Calvin Coolidge. He was the father of Henry A. Wallace, who would follow in his father's footsteps as Secretary of Agriculture and later became Vice President under President Franklin D. Roosevelt. He was an editor of Wallaces' Farmer from 1916 to 1921.
Martin Burns, nicknamed Farmer Burns, was an American catch wrestler, wrestling coach, and teacher. Born in Cedar County, Iowa, he started wrestling as a teenager and made money traveling around the Midwest wrestling in carnivals and fairs. As a professional wrestler, he claimed the American Heavyweight Championship by defeating Evan "Strangler" Lewis in 1895 and held the title for two years, during the time when contests were legitimate. At this time, Martin Burns himself claimed to have wrestled in more than 6,000 matches and is said to have lost only seven. After the end of his active wrestling career he started a successful wrestling school in Omaha and later coached Cedar Rapids' Washington high school to the first Iowa high school state wrestling tournament title. He died in Council Bluffs in 1937. In 2001 Martin "Farmer" Burns was inducted into the International Wrestling Institute and Museum Hall of Fame. He was also inducted into the Wrestling Observer Newsletter Hall of Fame in 2002. The Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame inducted Martin Burns in 2003 and Burns was inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame in 2017.

An Iowa native, he practiced law in The Dalles, Oregon, with several cases making it to the Supreme Court of the United States.
Luman Hamlin Weller was a United States Greenback Party member. In the 1880s, he served a single term in the United States House of Representatives as a representative of Iowa's 4th congressional district, then in rural northeastern Iowa. Once elected, he became nationally known as "Calamity" Weller, and did not survive his next election. He later went on to become one of the leading Populists in Iowa.

He was the last Republican to serve as Governor of Louisiana until Dave Treen took office in 1980.
