Bunda Town is a city and capital of Bunda District. It is located in Mara Region in the [[Tanzania|United

The city was previously an administrative part of the Bunda District, but in 2007 it was parted from the District. The city had a population of 182,970 according to the 2022 census. [1]

Bunda has had a friendly relationship with the Norwegian Municipality Tingvoll since 1990. In 2007, the partnership was expanded through a program called "Municipal International Co-Operation". [2] The overall strategic goal for the programme is to improve municipal governance and services, and the method is to stimulate the collaboration between local authorities in Tingvoll and Bunda. There are 15 other pairs of municipalities included in the programme.

Moshi is a municipality and the capital of Kilimanjaro region in the north eastern Tanzania. Stangvik is a former municipality in Møre og Romsdal county, Norway. The 437-square-kilometre (169 sq mi) municipality existed from 1838 until its dissolution in 1965. The municipality of Stangvik encompassed much of the area surrounding the Trongfjorden and the smaller fjords that branch off of it such as the Ålvundfjorden, Stangvikfjorden, and Todalsfjorden. The municipality was mostly located in what is now Surnadal Municipality and also small portions of what is now Sunndal Municipality and Tingvoll Municipality. The administrative centre of the municipality was the village of Stangvik where Stangvik Church is located.

It included the northern part of the Straumsnes peninsula, the eastern part of the island of Aspøya, and several surrounding islands in the northern part of the present-day Tingvoll Municipality. The administrative centre of the municipality was the village of Straumsnes where the Straumsnes Church is located.
