In 2003, UIC received a $5 million endowment from Jim Liautaud, his wife Gina, and their son, Jimmy John Liautaud, owner and founder of Jimmy John's, to establish the graduate school in the College of Business Administration. Called The Liautaud Graduate School of Business, it was named in their honor.
