C. Durairaj (died 5 January 2014 [1] ) was an Indian politician and presently serving Member of the Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu. He was elected to the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly as an Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam candidate from Sedapatti constituency in 2001 and 2006 elections. [2] [3]

He served as the Minister for Local Administration of TamilNadu from (May2001-Aug2002)

He was born in Batlagundu on 6 January 1953. His son I. P. Senthil Kumar is an MLA of Palani constituency in Tamil nadu.

K. Ponmudi is an Indian Tamil and Higher education Minister of Tamilnadu. He was the minister for higher education in Tamil Nadu state of India from 2006 to 2011. He was born in T. Edaiyar in the Villupuram district. He has a bachelor's degree in law, a master's degree in history, political science and public Administration and a doctorate in political science. C.Ve.Shanmugam Pichai is an Indian politician and was a former member of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly from Villupuram constituency. D. Jayakumar is an Indian politician and was a Member of the 15th Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu. He was the Speaker of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly until his resignation on 29 September 2012. In October 2020, he was appointed to 11 member Steering Committee of AIADMK and also serves as its Organizng Secretary. In the TN 2021 Election for Royapuram constituency, he was defeated by Murthy.R of DMK by a margin of 27,779 votes. He had represented Royapuram five times - 1991, 2001, 2006, 2011 and 2016.

P. K. Sekar Babu, is an Indian Tamil politician and Minister of Hindu Religious and Charitable Endowments Department and Member of the Legislative Assembly of Tamil Nadu. Currently he is elected to the Tamil Nadu legislative assembly from Harbour as an Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam candidate in 2016 and 2021 elections.
