Warkop were an Indonesian comedy troupe that enjoyed success in radio, films and television over the 1980s and 1990s. Assembled in Jakarta on 1976 under Prambors Rasisonia management, they initially went by the name Warkop Prambors. They soon burgeoned as the country's top comedy group, surpassing Srimulat and Jakarta Group. After their film debut, they settled on the name Warkop DKI. Besides acting on numerous films, they also made sitcoms on ANteve in 1995–1997 as Warkop DKI and Indosiar during 1997–2001 as Warkop Millennium. They also famous for some of parody songs they composed.

Dilan 1990 is a 2018 Indonesian coming of age romantic drama film. It is based on the novel Dilan: Dia adalah Dilanku Tahun 1990 by Pidi Baiq. The film stars Iqbaal Ramadhan and Vanesha Prescilla as the main roles, with some high-profile names in supporting, minor, or cameo roles; Farhan, Happy Salma, Adhisty Zara of idol group JKT48, and Ridwan Kamil, the then-Mayor of Bandung. The film has been watched by 6.3 million people, and is the best-selling Indonesian film of 2018 and the second best-selling Indonesian film of all time, just behind Warkop DKI Reborn: Jangkrik Boss! Part 1 with 6.8 million viewers. The film is followed by a sequel, Dilan 1991, which was released on 28 February 2019.

Milea is a 2020 Indonesian language romantic drama film directed by Fajar Bustomi and Pidi Baiq, and written by Baiq and Titien Wattimena. The film is based on the novel of the same name by Baiq and is the sequel to Dilan 1991 released in 2019. The film is a spin-off, having its point of view from Dilan and displaying events uncaptured in the previous two films. The film was distributed to Netflix on 13 June 2020, and premiered on SCTV on 25 August 2020.
KKN di Desa Penari is a 2022 Indonesian horror film directed by Awi Suryadi, based on a viral Twitter thread of the same name by SimpleMan, produced by MD Pictures and its subsidiary, Pichouse Films. This film stars Tissa Biani, Adinda Thomas, and Achmad Megantara. This film released on April 30, 2022, previously this film was planned to be released on March 19, 2020, and than on February 24, 2022, but both of the date has pulled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Wahjoe Sardono, known mononymously as Dono or Dono Warkop, was an Indonesian actor, comedian, and lecturer. He gained fame as a member of the comedy group Warkop. Born in Delanggu, Klaten, Dono began his career while still a student at the University of Indonesia (UI), where he worked as a caricaturist and social activist. He later became a teaching assistant for sociology professor Selo Soemardjan, teaching several general lectures and group sessions alongside Paulus Wirutomo.
Kasino Hadiwibowo, better known by his mononym Kasino, was an Indonesian actor and comedian. He was a member of the comedy group Warkop. Born in Gombong, Kebumen, Kasino displayed an interest in humor from his school days. His career as a comedian began to take off while he was studying at the University of Indonesia. Alongside Nanu Moeljono and Rudy Badil, Kasino became a host of the radio show Obrolan Malam Jumat on Prambors FM, which aired every Thursday night. This show later became the precursor to the Warkop group.

Indrodjojo Kusumonegoro, better known by the mononym Indro, and also called as Indro Warkop, is an Indonesian actor and comedian. Indro is the only surviving member of the comedy group Warkop.
Rudy David Badil was an Indonesian journalist who co-founded the comedy group Warkop with Nanu Moeljono, Kasino Hadiwibowo (Kasino), Wahjoe Sardono (Dono), and Indrodjojo Kusumonegoro (Indro). Before being known as Warkop DKI, this group was called Warkop Prambors, which broadcast humorous entertainment programs through Radio Prambors.
Mana Tahaaan... is an Indonesian comedy-drama film released on April 10, 1980. Directed by Nawi Ismail and produced by Bola Dunia Film, it marks the first film of the Warkop comedy group. The film starred Dono, Kasino, Indro, Nanu Moeljono, Elvy Sukaesih, Rahayu Effendi, and Kusno Sudjarwadi.
