CLYMB Abu Dhabi is an indoor adventure hub in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, owned and developed by Miral Asset Management. [1] It is managed and operated by Miral Asset Management LLC. [2] The adventure hub has two Guinness World Records [3] and is located on Yas Island near Ferrari World, Yas Waterworld and Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi. [4]

CLYMB Abu Dhabi was first announced in 2016. [5] On November 24, 2019, the adventure hub was inaugurated featuring two record-breaking experiences, the world's largest indoor skydiving flight chamber and the region's tallest climbing wall at 42.16 meters. [1] [6] [7] The adventure hub also features climbing and learning courses. [8] [9]

Located just off the shore of the western region of Abu Dhabi, Sir Bani Yas was originally home to Arabia's largest wildlife reserve. Spanning over 87 km2 (34 sq mi), the reserve was established in 1977 by Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Due to decades of conservation work and ecological investment, it is now home to thousands of large free-roaming animals and several million trees and plants. A bird sanctuary as well as a wildlife reserve, Sir Bani Yas showcases nature through activities such as adventure safaris, kayaking, mountain biking, archery, hiking and snorkeling.

Manufactured by Intamin, the ride set a speed record when it opened on 4 November 2010, becoming the fastest roller coaster in the world with a maximum speed of 240 km/h (149.1 mph). It surpassed Kingda Ka at Six Flags Great Adventure, which had held the record since 2005. In addition to its top speed, the coaster propels riders from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in approximately two seconds and will reach its maximum speed in 4.9 seconds.

Capital Gate, also known as the Leaning Tower of Abu Dhabi, is a skyscraper in Abu Dhabi that is over 160 meters (520 ft) tall, 35 stories high, with over 16,000 square meters (170,000 sq ft) of usable office space. Capital Gate is one of the tallest buildings in the city and was designed to incline 18° west, more than four times the lean of the Leaning Tower of Pisa. The building is owned and was developed by the Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company. The tower is the focal point of Capital Centre.

UFC 251: Usman vs. Masvidal was a mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship that took place on July 12, 2020 at the du Forum on Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. It was originally planned to take place on June 6 at Perth Arena in Perth, Australia. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the event was eventually postponed on April 9 (see section below). In early June, it was confirmed that the event would instead take place in Abu Dhabi.
