On 1 January, thirty-nine more deaths was confirmed, for a total of 3,250 since the start of the pandemic, 2,074 new cases were confirmed for a total of 339,997. On 22 February, fourteen more deaths was confirmed, for a total of 4,351 since the start of the pandemic, 2,956 new cases were confirmed for a total of 439,596. On 23 February, fifteen more deaths was confirmed, for a total of 4,366 since the start of the pandemic, 3,257 new cases were confirmed for a total of 442,853. On 24 February, seventeen more deaths was confirmed, for a total of 4,383 since the start of the pandemic, 3,460 new cases were confirmed for a total of 446,313. On 25 February, fifteen more deaths was confirmed, for a total of 4,398 since the start of the pandemic, 3,588 new cases were confirmed for a total of 449,901. On 26 February, sixteen more deaths was confirmed, for a total of 4,414 since the start of the pandemic, 3,339 new cases were confirmed for a total of 453,240. On 27 February, fifteen more deaths was confirmed, for a total of 4,429 since the start of the pandemic, 3,210 new cases were confirmed for a total of 456,450. A further 12,561 tests were conducted on this day, totaling 2,930,139 since the start of the pandemic. There were 3,912 patients hospitalized, out of those 160 were on ventilators. [60]

On 28 February, fourteen more deaths was confirmed, for a total of 4,443 since the start of the pandemic, 2,809 new cases were confirmed for a total of 459,259.
