Alex Grey is an American visual artist, author, teacher, and Vajrayana practitioner known for creating spiritual and psychedelic artwork such as his 21-painting Sacred Mirrors series. He works in multiple forms including performance art, process art, installation art, sculpture, visionary art, and painting. He is also on the board of advisors for the Center for Cognitive Liberty and Ethics, and is the Chair of Wisdom University's Sacred Art Department. He and his wife Allyson Grey are the co-founders of The Chapel of Sacred Mirrors (CoSM), a non-profit organization in Wappingers Falls, New York.
Bulawayo is the second largest city in Zimbabwe, and the largest city in the country's Matabeleland region. The city's population is disputed; the 2022 census listed it at 665,940, while the Bulawayo City Council claimed it to be about 1.2 million. Bulawayo covers an area of about 546 square kilometres in the western part of the country, along the Matsheumhlope River. Parliamentary elections were held in Zimbabwe on 24 and 25 June 2000 to elect members of the House of Assembly. The electoral system involved 120 constituencies returning one member each, elected by the First Past the Post system, with the President of Zimbabwe then nominating 20 members and ten further members from the Tribal Chiefs sitting ex officio. This was the first national election in which Zimbabwe's ruling ZANU-PF party had faced any real opposition since the 1980s. The newly formed Movement for Democratic Change challenged Mugabe's control of parliament. The MDC won 57 of the 120 elected seats, with 47% of the popular vote. Zanu-PF won 63 seats and carried approximately 48% of the popular vote.

Isabelle Le Normand is a French contemporary art curator based in Los Angeles, California who has curated exhibitions and events internationally. After her double Master's from the Sorbonne in curatorial studies and art history, Le Normand curated for public institutions in Paris: at Mains d'Oeuvres where she was director and curator for six years; Palais de Tokyo; at Galerie Anne Barrault; La Box in Bourges; in Los Angeles at ForYourArt, Machine Project, and 18th Street Arts Center; at private collector Danny First's house and galleries Anne Barrault in Paris, FKSE in Budapest. She completed residencies at the Total Museum and Gwangju Biennale in South Korea, the Stroom Foundation in the Netherlands, Cité des arts in Paris, Komplot in Brussels, and Residency Unlimited in New York. At Mains d'Oeuvres she built a large audience and distinguished the space in the international arts community through innovative, multidisciplinary programming.

Elena Näsänen is a Finnish visual artist who works with film and video installations. She studied in the Department of Time and Space-based Art at the Academy of Fine Arts, Helsinki, receiving a master's degree in 1998. She has also studied at the Slade School of Fine Art in London and in the first edition of the Feature Expanded training programme.
