The CVD Cobras (formerly Edensor Park Cobras) are a rugby league club located in Sydney's South Western suburbs. They play in the Parramatta District Junior Rugby League.
The formation of the Edensor Park Cobras Junior Rugby League Football Club was first discussed in a meeting in the Staff Room of Governor Phillip King Primary School in 1990 between Steve Stretton and John Dunn.
Established in 1991, the first Season featured teams in the U/7, U/8, U/10, U/11 and U/13 competitions.
The year 2000 saw the Club celebrate its 10th anniversary with a special commemorative jersey being produced, which each player in the 2000 season kept as a special memento.
In 2001 the Cobras became a sub club of Cabra-Vale Diggers, and changed their name to CVD Cobras. This saw the addition of yellow to the clubs traditional colours of red and blue.
Since their inception, the cobras have proved they are a club not to be taken lightly, with at least one team reaching the Grand Finals in every season.
Often regarded as a junior club, the Cobras in recent years have ventured into the C Grade competition where they have won the 2nd Division competition in 2007 and 2008. The 2009 season sees the inauguration of the Cobras to the 2nd Division A Grade competition. The club now fields teams in every age group from U/6's to A Grade. The Cobras won the Parramatta Club Of The Year Award in 2006, 2007 and were finalists in 2008. The Cobras finished as runners up in the 2nd Division A Grade competition in 2014, won the competition in 2015 and finished as runners up in the 1st Division A Grade competition in 2016.

From 1991 to 2003 their club colours were Red and Blue, in the style of the Newcastle Knights. Since the 2004 season, the club has added Yellow to their playing strip to recognise their status as a sub-club of Cabra-Vale Diggers.

Edensor Park is a suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Edensor Park is located 38 kilometres west of the Sydney central business district in the local government area of the City of Fairfield. It is mainly a residential area, Edensor Park is part of the Greater Western Sydney region.
The Balmain Tigers are a rugby league club based in the inner-western Sydney suburb of Balmain. They were a founding member of the New South Wales Rugby League and one of the most successful in the history of the premiership, with eleven titles. In 1999 they formed a joint venture club with the Western Suburbs Magpies club to form the Wests Tigers for competition in the National Rugby League (NRL). The Western Suburbs Panthers, or the West Brisbane Panthers, or often simply referred to as Wests for short, is a semi professional rugby league club based in the western suburbs of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. The club is the oldest in the QRL and despite absences from the top grade in recent years and several name changes the club continued to operate. After leaving the Queensland Cup, they participated in the Brisbane A-Grade competition from 2005 until their senior sides disbanding in 2012. In 2013, the club entered a voluntary hiatus, but was announced to be part of the revived Brisbane Rugby League.
Cabramatta Two Blues, colloquially known as Cabra, is an Australian rugby league football club that was originally formed in 1919 and then later completely formed as the Two Blues in 1939. They have always based from the Parramatta Junior Leagues, and their junior teams compete in the Parramatta District Junior Rugby League Association. They currently compete in the Sydney Shield and have previously competed in the Ron Massey Cup however both sides did not field a side for the 2022 season in either competition. They play out of the Cabramatta, New South Wales, Sports Ground Complex which can fit up to 5,000 spectators. The Two Blues have won numerous A-Grade Titles with their last Premiership received in 2002.
The St Marys Saints are an Australian rugby league club who were formed in 1908. They were the founding Member of the Penrith District Rugby League. They have previously competed in the NSWRL Jim Beam Cup, winning three titles in the 1990s and in the NSWRL Premier League/State League as a former joint-venture club with their local rivals, the Penrith Panthers from 2002 until 2007. For a brief time, the Saints were known as the Cougars in the NSWRL Jim Beam Cup. The club has since returned to its original name.

The geographical area covered by the former CRL Group 6 takes in much of the Southern Highlands and southern Macarthur regions of New South Wales, extending from Marulan, New South Wales in the south, to Mount Annan/ the M5 in the north and Warragamba in the west.
