Caleb Douglas (born September 9, 2003) [1] is an American college football wide receiver for the Texas Tech Red Raiders. He previously played for the Florida Gators.
Douglas attended Hightower High School in Missouri City, Texas. [2] As a senior, he was the District 10-5A Co-Offensive MVP after recording 51 receptions for 984 yards and five touchdowns. [3] He committed to the University of Florida to play college football. [4] [5]
Douglas started two of eight games his true freshman year at Florida in 2022, recording 10 receptions for 175 yards and two touchdown. As a sophomore in 2023, he started the first five games of the season before fracture to his fibula, causing him to miss the rest of the season. [6] He ended the year with 11 receptions for 133 yards and a touchdown. [7] After the season, Douglas entered the transfer portal and transferred to Texas Tech University. [8] In his first year at Texas Tech in 2024, he started all 13 games and finished second on the team with 60 receptions for 877 yards and six touchdowns. [9]
