On August 23, 2000, CCHS commenced its educational journey with a faculty comprising seven members and an initial enrollment of 38 ninth and tenth-grade students. Within the following academic year, enrollment witnessed a twofold increase, reaching eighty students by 2001-2002. The inaugural junior class embraced their roles as upperclassmen while the school celebrated a milestone in its third year (2002-03) by promoting juniors into the first senior class, marking the introduction of a full four-year high school program. Eighteen students constituted the pioneering graduating class of Calvary, amidst an enrollment of 125 students and a faculty size of thirteen.
Subsequent years witnessed a steady expansion, with the school accommodating growing enrollment by utilizing additional classrooms within its existing premises, alongside commencing construction on a new facility at the intersection of McMullen Booth Road and Drew Street. Enrollment surged to 200 students at the onset of the 2005-06 academic year, culminating in the relocation of the school to its new campus during the Christmas break of 2006.
Since then, Calvary Christian High School has continued its trajectory of growth, not only in terms of enrollment but also in the breadth of academic offerings. Presently, students have access to a diverse array of educational opportunities, including dual-credit college courses, advanced placement classes, and a comprehensive suite of college preparatory programs. Moreover, the school boasts accreditation from esteemed bodies such as the Florida Council of Independent Schools (FCIS), the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS), a division of Cognia.
The mission of Calvary Christian High School is to partner with the Christian home and the church to provide a challenging college preparatory Christian education that equips students to live successfully according to God's plan for their lives.
