Alexander Campbell "Cam" McPherson (born 24 May 1940) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for Hawthorn in the Victorian Football League (VFL).
A half back flanker from Shepparton, McPherson played over 100 games for Hawthorn and was a member of the club's first-ever premiership side.
Adrian Jamal McPherson is an American former professional football quarterback. He was selected by the New Orleans Saints in the fifth round of the 2005 NFL draft. He played college football at Florida State before being dismissed from the team as a result of a November 2002 arrest. As a professional, McPherson was also a member of the Indiana Firebirds, Utah Blaze, Austin Wranglers, Grand Rapids Rampage, Tampa Bay Storm and Los Angeles KISS of the Arena Football League (AFL), the Montreal Alouettes, Calgary Stampeders and Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL), and the Jacksonville Sharks of the National Arena League (NAL).
John James Kennedy Sr. was an Australian rules footballer who played for the Hawthorn Football Club and coached Hawthorn and the North Melbourne Football Club in the Victorian Football League (VFL). He coached Hawthorn to premierships in 1961, 1971, and 1976.

Hodge started his career playing on the half-back flank but as his career progressed he has been known to push up into the midfield. He is a four-time premiership player, three-time premiership captain and a two-time Norm Smith Medallist. Hodge is widely regarded as one of the most respected players, in particular as a captain, to have ever participated in the sport. As of 2023, Hodge has played the most VFL/AFL games of any number-one draft pick, is the only number-one draft pick to win a Norm Smith Medal, is one of just three number-one draft picks to have won a premiership, and has won the most premierships of any number-one draft pick (4).

Smith retired from AFL at the conclusion of the 2023 AFL season, his third year at Geelong.
