Cameron Chastain (born May 16, 1986 in Millersville, Maryland) is an American soccer player who last played for Real Maryland Monarchs in the USL Second Division.

Millersville is an unincorporated community in Anne Arundel County, Maryland, United States. Population was 20,965 in 2015 based on American Community Survey data.

USL Second Division defunct American soccer league

The United Soccer Leagues Second Division was a professional men's soccer league in the United States, part of the United Soccer Leagues (USL) league pyramid. It was at the third tier of soccer in the United States, behind Major League Soccer and the USL First Division, and one step up from the USL Premier Development League and other leagues in the fourth tier.

College

Chastain attended Chestertown Christian High School, where he was the school's Athlete of the Year as a senior, and played four years of college soccer at Liberty University. He was named to the Big South Presidential Honor Roll as both a freshman and a sophomore, and was named to the Big South All-Tournament team as a junior in 2007.

College soccer is played by teams composed of soccer players who are enrolled in colleges and universities. While it is most widespread in the United States, it is also prominent in South Korea and Canada. The institutions typically hire full-time professional coaches and staff, although the student athletes are strictly amateur and are not paid. College soccer in the United States is sponsored by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), the sports regulatory body for major universities, and by the governing bodies for smaller universities and colleges. This sport is played on a rectangular field of the dimensions of about 64m (meters) - 70m sideline to sideline (width), and 100m - 110m goal line to goal line (length).

Professional

Chastain began his professional career in 2009 when he signed with the Real Maryland Monarchs in the USL Second Division, and made his professional debut on May 2, 2009 in a 2-1 defeat to the Pittsburgh Riverhounds.^[1]
