Cameron Coleman (born August 14, 2006) [1] is an American football wide receiver for the Auburn Tigers. He was the #5 ranked recruit in the 2024 recruiting class. [2]
Coleman grew up in Phenix City, Alabama and attended Central High School. [3] [4] He caught 31 passes for 542 yards and six touchdowns as a junior. [5]
Coleman was originally rated a four-star recruit by most recruiting services but was later rerated as a five-star prospect. [6]
He led his Central Phenix City High School team to the state championship where they defeated Thompson High School 21-19.
He signed to play college football at Auburn over offers from Clemson, Texas A&M, Florida State, and LSU. [7] [8]
Coleman's father, Bobby Coleman, played college football at Alabama State. [9]

He first played two seasons for Trinity Valley Community College, where he caught 50 receptions for four touchdowns and 858 yards. Camper then committed to Indiana in December 2021 and led Indiana's receivers in terms of receptions and yardage in 2022, before sustaining an injury. He then recovered to play in 2023, scoring one touchdown and catching 17 receptions for 285 yards, before committing to Boise State in January 2024.
