Cameron Howat (born 30 January 1985) is a former Australian rules footballer who was selected in the 2005 AFL Rookie Draft by the Richmond Football Club and delisted after the 2008 season.
After playing 20 senior games in two seasons Howat was de-listed by the Tigers on 31 October 2007. However he was reselected that same year at the 2007 AFL Rookie Draft at pick 47. He did show some promise when in the senior team, his silky skills and dashing run from defence being a treat to watch.
He played one more game in 2008 in which he was suspended for striking. He was finally delisted from the Richmond Rookie list at the end of the 2008 season.

Andrew McQualter is an Australian rules footballer who played 89 games for the St Kilda Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was also on the Gold Coast Football Club rookie list. He is currently an assistant coach at the Richmond Football Club.
The AFL pre-season draft is the drafting of uncontracted players to teams in the Australian Football League. The draft is conducted after the national AFL draft and before the start of the next AFL season. It is conducted at the same time as the AFL rookie draft. The pre-season draft is a place for any uncontracted players to nominate that missed the AFL draft or who were delisted after the main draft. It was first held in 1989 and has been diminishing greatly in its importance; the last five years have only averaged 8 selections per year, compared to over 50 in each of the first five years. It was considered that the pre-season draft only existed to protect the league from writs for restraint-of-trade, but due to the introduction of free agency in 2012, there have been calls to scrap the pre-season draft and extend the free agency period.

Daniel Connors was considered a "steal" from the 2006 National Draft as many touted him as a possible top 20 pick but slipped down to the 58th selection where Richmond selected him with their third selection.
