Peter Andre

After his divorce from Kate Price, Peter Andre continued working with Can Associates TV with Going It Alone and The Next Chapter and also relaunched his music career; he also signed a new contract with ITV2 [1]

Kerry Katona

In November 2010 Kerry Katona signed a contract with Can Associates and ITV2 to make a programme that is similar to that of Peter Andre. [2] In June 2011, Katona and Can Associates parted company, [3] apparently because of her wild parties in Spain. [4] As a result of these differences, the third series of Katona's fly-on-the-wall show The Next Chapter, which was due to be broadcast in late 2011, was in jeopardy; in September 2011 ITV axed the show. [5]

Atomic Kitten is a British pop girl group formed in Liverpool in 1998, whose current members are Liz McClarnon, Jenny Frost and Natasha Hamilton. The group was founded by Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD) members Andy McCluskey and Stuart Kershaw, who served as principal songwriters during Atomic Kitten's early years. Jenny Frost British singer (b. 1978)

Jennifer Frost is an English singer, television presenter and model. She was a member of girl group Precious before replacing Kerry Katona in the group Atomic Kitten from 2001 until they disbanded in April 2004. Frost returned with the group in 2005, 2006, and 2008 for one-off appearances but chose not to return when the group were invited to appear on ITV2's The Big Reunion in 2012. Original member Katona was asked to come back, and she agreed. Frost presented makeunder show Snog Marry Avoid? from 2008 to 2011. In 2011 she co-presented OK! TV alongside Jeff Brazier. Frost reunited with Atomic Kitten in July 2021.

On 4 December 2010, singer Stacey Solomon won the show.

<i>71 Degrees North</i> Season of television series

71 Degrees North is an English-language and Norwegian-produced reality television series on ITV which began broadcasting on 11 September 2010. Ten celebrities had to battle it out to see who would make it to the 71st parallel north, with challenges along the way. Mazda formerly sponsored the show, Continental tires were the final sponsors. The show was based on the Norwegian format 71° nord, which had been broadcast on TVNorge since 1999, and adapted in Sweden, Denmark, Poland, The Netherlands, and Belgium. The format was distributed by Banijay International.

The sixth series of Dancing on Ice aired from 9 January to 27 March 2011 on ITV. Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby returned as hosts whilst Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean returned to mentor the celebrities. As part of a major revamp, the show moved from Elstree Studios to Shepperton Studios, and unveiled a new set. It was the also the first series to be broadcast in HD.

Amy Andrea Childs is an English television personality and model. She appeared in the first two series of the ITV2 reality series The Only Way Is Essex, and subsequently starred in her own reality series It's All About Amy from 2011 to 2012. Childs came in fourth place in the Channel 5 series Celebrity Big Brother 8 in 2011, and in 2014, she participated in the Channel 4 series The Jump. Childs returned to The Only Way Is Essex in 2020.

Celebrity Big Brother 2011, also known as Celebrity Big Brother 8, was the eighth series of the British reality television series Celebrity Big Brother. It was the first series of Celebrity Big Brother to air on Channel 5, and the first celebrity series not to air in January since Celebrity Big Brother 2, which was broadcast in November 2002. The series launched on 18 August 2011, and ended after 22 days on 8 September 2011, making it the shortest Channel 5 series. It was followed by the twelfth regular series, which launched the following night after the final. Davina McCall did not return to host the main show, and was replaced by former winner Brian Dowling. Emma Willis presented the spin-off show Big Brother's Bit on the Side, alongside Jamie East and Alice Levine. Marcus Bentley returned as commentator for the live shows and highlights whilst also providing voice over for viewer competitions.

Mark Wright (TV personality) English television personality

Mark Charles Edward Wright is an English television personality, football pundit, entertainment reporter, and semi-professional footballer who last played for EFL League Two side Crawley Town. He is best known for appearing as a cast member on the first three series of The Only Way Is Essex. Wright gained more popularity after appearing on the eleventh series of I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! where he finished as runner-up, and the twelfth series of Strictly Come Dancing, where he finished in fourth place.

<i>The X Factor</i> (British series 8) British TV competition

The X Factor is a British television music competition to find new singing talent. The eighth series commenced airing on ITV on 20 August 2011 and ended on 11 December 2011. The winner was Little Mix, a four-piece girlband known earlier in the series as Rhythmix, consisting of members Perrie Edwards, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, Jade Thirlwall, and Jesy Nelson. They all entered the competition as soloist, and were later put together as a group. They became the first act in the groups category to win in the UK show's history with new judge Tulisa emerging as their winning mentor. Dermot O'Leary presented the main show on ITV, while Caroline Flack and series 6 runner-up Olly Murs co-presented the spin-off show The Xtra Factor on ITV2, replacing Konnie Huq from the previous year. Louis Walsh returned to the judging panel and was joined by Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland and Tulisa. Barlow, Rowland and Tulisa joined the panel as replacements for former judges, Simon Cowell, Dannii Minogue and Cheryl Cole. Series 5 winner Alexandra Burke served as a guest judge for week 4 of the live shows due to Rowland having a throat infection.

I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! returned for its twelfth series on 11 November 2012 and finished on 1 December 2012. Ant & Dec returned as main hosts, with Laura Whitmore and Joe Swash returning as hosts of spin-off show I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here! NOW!. On 16 June 2012, it was announced that Russell Kane would be leaving Get Me Out of Here! NOW!. He has been replaced by comedian Rob Beckett.

The Exclusives is a British reality competition television series that debuted on ITV2 on 17 May 2012. The show follows six aspiring journalists, Hayley, Stuart, Sunny, Felix, Ellie and Christopher, competing to win their dream job with one of Britain's most famous magazines. On 23 August 2012, it was confirmed that The Exclusives had been cancelled by ITV2.

<i>The Big Reunion</i>

The Big Reunion is a British reality-documentary series that began airing on ITV2 on 31 January 2013. The show featured chart-topping bands who were big in the UK pop music scene between the 1990s and early 2000s, and the programme followed them as they reunited for the first time in a decade and went through their two weeks of intensive rehearsals before finally stepping back on stage for a comeback performance.

The first series of the British reality-documentary series The Big Reunion began airing on ITV2 on 31 January 2013 until 28 March 2013. The show features chart-topping bands who were big names in the UK pop music scene between the 1990s and early 2000s, and the programme follows them as they reunite for the first time in a decade and go through their two weeks of intensive rehearsals before finally stepping back on stage for a comeback performance. The bands who reunited for the first series were Five, 911, Atomic Kitten, B*Witched, Honeyz and Liberty X. Blue also joined later on.
