Alberta Provincial Highway No. 68, commonly referred to as Highway 68 and officially named Sibbald Creek Trail, is a highway in central Alberta, Canada, west of Calgary. In the west, Highway 68 begins at its intersection with Highway 40 and ends at Highway 1 approximately 17 km (11 mi) west of Highway 22. The road is paved for the final 11.5 km (7.1 mi) to Highway 1 all other sections are gravel. It is provides access to hiking, horseback riding and hunting areas, Sibbald Lake Campground, private ranching operations and gas fields in the area. Through travellers can use it as an alternate route to Kananaskis Country.
Earl Wesley Bascom was an American painter, printmaker, sculptor, cowboy, rodeo performer, inventor, and Hollywood actor. Raised in Canada, he portrayed in works of fine art his own experiences of cowboying and rodeoing across the American and Canadian West. Bascom was awarded the Pioneer Award by the ProRodeo Hall of Fame in 2016 and inducted into several halls of fame including the Canadian Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame in 1984. Bascom was called the "Cowboy of Cowboy Artists," the "Dean of Rodeo Cowboy Sculpture" and the "Father of Modern Rodeo." He was a participant member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Del Bonita is a hamlet in southern Alberta, Canada within Cardston County. It is located approximately 49 km (30 mi) south of Magrath at the junction of Highway 62 and Highway 501. Due to its location near the Canada–United States border, it serves as a port of entry into the U.S. state of Montana at the nearby Del Bonita Border Crossing which is located 3 km (1.9 mi) to the south. Del Bonita is a name derived from Spanish meaning "of the pretty".
Stewart Cameron (1912–1970) was a Canadian cartoonist best known for his cowboy cartoons and his editorial cartoons lampooning Alberta Premier William Aberhart. Born in Calgary, Alberta, the son of prominent lawyer J. McKinley Cameron, he studied art at Mount Royal College, running a pack-string in the Rocky Mountains during the summers, before taking a job with Walt Disney Studios working on Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in January 1936. At the same time, he drew some editorial cartoons for the Calgary Herald. The Herald was opposed to Social Credit League leader William Aberhart, and Cameron's cartoons reflected this. After Aberhart won the 1935 election, the Herald hired Cameron as its first full-time editorial cartoonist in 1936. His cartoons alienated the Social Credit faithful; his house was once bombed while he was away from it.

The Calgary Stampede and Red Deer Silver Buckle Rodeo commissioned bronzes from her, and she has pieces in the private collections of Queen Elizabeth, Princess Margaret, and Randy Travis. She was inducted into the Calgary Stampede Western Art Show Hall of Fame in 2007 and the Canadian Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame in 2013.
