Candle is a Christian kids' band that is best known for their Agapeland-related children's albums Music Machine and Bullfrogs and Butterflies. They recorded children's albums for Sparrow Records' Birdwing branch.
The band won the 1988 Dove Award "Children's Music Album of the Year" for their album Bullfrogs and Butterflies III. [1] They have also been nominated for a Grammy Award multiple times.[ citation needed ]
Geoff Moore is an American contemporary Christian music singer. He began recording as a solo artist in 1984. In 1987, he formed Geoff Moore and The Distance, his touring band, which released eight albums generating a string of No. 1 radio hits throughout their 10+-year tenure. In 1998, Geoff retired the band from full-time touring. After a "farewell tour", Moore has continued as a solo artist, releasing eight more records between 1999 and 2015. The Next Thing was released in April 2016, making it his 25th album to date.
Petra is an American music group regarded as a pioneer of the Christian rock and contemporary Christian music genres and was, for many years, regarded as the "world's most popular Christian rock band". Formed in 1972, the band took its name from the Greek word for "rock". Though it disbanded formally in 2006, incarnations have played reunion shows in the years since and released two albums in November 2010, and in November 2017. It features the characters Stevie and Nancy. It is part of a series of spin-offs of Music Machine albums, books, and Music Machine movies. This album is the winner of the 1983 Dove Award for "Children's Music Album of the Year," and it was Nominated for the 1983 Grammy Award "Best Recording for Children."
Bullfrogs and Butterflies II (1985) is the second album in the Dove Award winning Christian children's series called Bullfrogs and Butterflies. It is set in Agapeland, and is an offshoot of the Agapeland album. This album was nominated for the 1985 Grammy Award for "Best Recording for Children," and it won the 1985 Dove award for "Children's Music Album of the Year."

The Okee Dokee Brothers are an independent American bluegrass and American roots children's music duo from Minneapolis. Their 2012 CD/DVD release Can You Canoe?, with music and videos created during a 2011 paddle down the Mississippi River, won a Grammy for Best Children's Album in the 55th Grammy Awards. They released their second CD/DVD called Through the Woods in May 2014, with music and videos created during a 2013 trek up the Appalachian Trail. The album garnered a Grammy nomination in 2014. They traveled through the Southwest for another album and DVD, Saddle Up, which was also nominated for a Grammy in the best children's album category. Joe and Justin also published two picture books under Sterling Publishing titled Can You Canoe? And Other Adventure Songs and Thousand Star Hotel. Their primary branding artist, Brandon Reese, illustrated the books.
