2015 Southeast Asian Games 28th Southeast Asian Games

The 2015 Southeast Asian Games, officially known as the 28th Southeast Asian Games, was a Southeast Asian multi-sport event hosted by the city-state of Singapore. It was the fourth time the country hosted the games. Singapore previously also hosted the games in 1973, 1983 and 1993 edition.

Badminton at the 2015 Southeast Asian Games is held in Singapore Indoor Stadium, in Kallang, Singapore from 10 to 16 June 2015. Seven competitions were held in men and women's singles and in men, women and mixed's doubles and in men and women's team.

Swimming competitions at the 2015 Southeast Asian Games was held at the OCBC Aquatic Centre in the Singapore Sports Hub in Kallang, Singapore from 6 to 11 June 2015. Built only a year earlier, the venue is hosting the Southeast Asian Games for the first time. It was used to host the second Southeast Asian Swimming Championships in 2014 as a test bed for the organisers, with the 2015 Southeast Asian Games volunteers hired to also volunteer in the 2014 Swimming Championships to help in the familiarisation of the new venue.

Athletics competitions at the 2015 Southeast Asian Games were held at the National Stadium, East Coast Park and Kallang Practice Track in Singapore from 6 to 12 June. A total of 46 athletics events are featured at the 28th SEA Games, divided evenly between the sexes. The marathon started and finished in the stadium and had a route in the surrounding area including the East Coast Park, Marina Bay and the Gardens by the Bay.

Diving at the2015 Southeast Asian Games was held in OCBC Aquatic Centre, in Kallang, Singapore from 6 to 9 June 2015.

Radomyos Matjiur is a Thai swimmer who won a gold medal at the 2013 Southeast Asian Games in the 100 m breaststroke. He currently holds the Thai records in swimming in the 100 m breaststroke, 100 m individual medley, 200 m individual medley and 4×50 m freestyle relay. Matjiur also won the 200 m breaststroke final at the Southeast Asian Games in Singapore. He competes in the 100 m breaststroke at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

Poh Lip Meng Singaporean sport shooter (1969–2021)

Poh Lip Meng was a Singaporean sport shooter who won a gold medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in the 25 m standard pistol pairs event and at the 2015 Southeast Asian Games in the 50 m free pistol team event.
