The canton of Rochefort is an administrative division of the Charente-Maritime department, western France. It was created at the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. Its seat is in Rochefort. [1]

Charente-Maritime is a department on the southwestern coast of France named after the Charente River.

The seat of the canton is Tonnay-Boutonne. The canton has 3,237 inhabitants (2008).
