The Capreol Hawks were a Tier II Junior "A" ice hockey team from Capreol, Ontario, Canada. This defunct hockey team was a part of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League.
The team started in 1978 and folded in 1986. Prior to 1978, the Hawks were members of the NOHA Jr. B League, where they won a league title in 1971. The team was founded in 1970 by Marshall and Bob Edwards. After winning the 1970 Midget Championship, the Edwards' thought that the Hawks would fare well in Junior "B". In their first season in the league, the Hawks won the League title. They folded in 1986, after Marshall Edwards left the team due to health problems.

Capreol is a community in the Ontario city of Greater Sudbury. Situated on the Vermilion River, Capreol is the city's northernmost populated area.
The Guelph Platers were a junior ice hockey team based in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. The team played in the Ontario Hockey League, Ontario Junior Hockey League, and Southern Ontario Junior A Hockey League. They were originally known as the CMC's until 1972, the Biltmore Mad Hatters until 1975, and then took on the name Platers. The Platers were promoted to the Ontario Hockey League in 1982 and moved to Owen Sound in 1989. The franchise played in the Guelph Memorial Gardens.

The winner of the Dudley Hewitt Cup then moves on to compete for the Royal Bank Cup.

The Brantford 99ers are a Junior A ice hockey team from Brantford, Ontario, Canada. They are a part of the Ontario Junior Hockey League. The 99ers have previously been known as the Milton Icehawks, Milton Merchants, Milton Flyers, and Milton Steamers as Milton hosted junior hockey from 1966 to 2018. After purchasing the team, Darren DeDobbelaer of Brantford moved the club to that city for the start of the 2018-19 season, re-branding the team as the 99ers. In 2023, DeDobbelaer sold the team.
