Klee is a German pop band from Cologne. Named after German painter Paul Klee, the band was formed in 2002 by singer Suzie Kerstgens and musicians Sten Servaes and Tom Deininger. Klee's brand of pop music incorporates electronic as well as acoustic sounds and, in more recent years, the band has embraced chanson and schlager. Four of Klee's albums have entered the top 30 of the German albums chart.
Disco Inferno were an English experimental rock band active in the late 1980s and the 1990s. Initially a trio of guitar, bass, and drums performing in an identifiable post-punk style, the band soon pioneered a dynamic use of digital sampling in addition to standard rock instruments. While commercially unsuccessful during their existence, the band is considered to be a key post-rock act.
Innaway was an American psychedelic rock band from Southern California formed in 2001. In 2002, their demo was pressed in limited quantities by German label Audiolith Records but there wasn't a US release until 2005 when Some Records released a self-titled album by the band. Critical reviews were positive for the debut with music critic John Brady selecting it as one of the top three records of 2005 for NPR's Day to Day show. The band then spent some time on the road supporting the album touring with likes of Echo & the Bunnymen and The Brian Jonestown Massacre. In 2007 they released a 12" E.P. on Prime Directive Records. In 2011, they released their follow-up LP on their own via digital distribution on iTunes called Innaway 2. Both LP's were mixed at Soma Electronic Music Studios by John McEntire. The band toured with the reunited Rival Schools in 2008.
Martin Degville is the lead singer and co-songwriter of the UK pop band Sigue Sigue Sputnik, which had a worldwide hit single in 1986 with "Love Missile F1-11" and six other EMI single releases. Sigue Sigue Sputnik was formed with ex-Generation X bassist Tony James.
André Tegeler, known by his stage name Moguai, is a German music producer and DJ. In the early 1990s, he took the alias Moguai and began organising his own club nights and parties in Ruhrgebiet and Münsterland. He became one of the first techno DJs in Germany, sharing a platform with the likes of Paul van Dyk, Westbam and Sven Väth.
Anajo was an indie pop band from Augsburg, Germany that was active between 1999 and 2014. Consisting of Oliver Gottwald, Michael Schmidt and Ingolf Nössner (drums), the band produced guitar pop with electronic sounds, these being more prominent in earlier recordings. Anajo's debut album was released in 2004 and the band went on to record three further albums, the most commercially successful reaching No. 51 in the German charts.
Jazz ist anders is the eleventh full-length studio album by German rock band Die Ärzte. It was released on 2 November 2007. The album has a bonus-EP with three songs about the band and a hidden track. This is the first album after Debil that Die Ärzte produced alone. The cover is a reference to the most consumed food during their studio sessions: pizza. The whole packaging looks like a pizza box; the CD itself has a picture of a pizza on it and the bonus EP on their website is accessible using a code printed on paper in the shape of a green pepper. The EP looks like a tomato slice. The album has been criticized for not being as funny as one would expect from Die Ärzte, although it was very warmly received by fans.
Post-disco is a term to describe an aftermath in popular music history circa 1979–1985, imprecisely beginning with an unprecedented backlash against disco music in the United States, leading to civil unrest and a riot in Chicago known as the Disco Demolition Night on July 12, 1979, and indistinctly ending with the mainstream appearance of new wave in 1980. During its dying stage, disco displayed an increasingly electronic character that soon served as a stepping stone to new wave, old-school hip hop, euro disco, and was succeeded by an underground club music called hi-NRG, which was its direct continuation.
The Return of the Fabulous Hofner Bluenotes is the twenty-second studio album by British singer-songwriter Chris Rea, released in 2008 by his own record label, Jazzee Blue. It comprises three CDs and double 10" Vinyl records in an 80-page hardback book. It is the second album of his project, the Hofner Blue Notes (2003).
Puppetmastaz is a German hip hop group founded in Berlin with members from Germany, United States and Canada, like Max Turner, Chilly Gonzales, Paul PM, Mocky and Alex Tiller, who left the band in 2003. Formed in 1996, the group perform their shows with hand puppets and meet music styles of rap, funk and electronica.
MOONBOOTICA is the pseudonym of Hamburg DJs KoweSix and Tobitob, who have been playing together since the 1990s.
Hot Chelle Rae is an American pop rock band formed in Nashville, Tennessee in 2005. The band currently consists of Ryan Follesé, Nash Overstreet, and Jamie Follesé (drums). Their debut album, Lovesick Electric, was released on October 27, 2009. They gained widespread attention for their 2011 double platinum single, "Tonight Tonight". Another single, "I Like It Like That", peaked at No. 28 on the Billboard Hot 100 in the US.

Cold Driven was a hard rock band from Armstrong, British Columbia, Canada. The band expressed passion for creating unique and original music. The band recorded their debut album, "Set In Stone" in 2005 which helped establish themselves in the music industry.
Reborn in Defiance is the ninth studio album by American band Biohazard. It is the final album to feature founding member and vocalist/bassist Evan Seinfeld, who left the band in June 2011 shortly after the album was recorded, and the first album since 1994's State of the World Address to feature the original recording line-up, after Bobby Hambel's return to the band in 2008.
Tonight Alive are an Australian rock band from Sydney. As of 2018, the band consists of lead vocalist Jenna McDougall, guitarist Jake Hardy, bassist Cameron Adler, and drummer Matty Best.
Phenomenal Handclap Band is a band from New York City. Their first full-length record, Phenomenal Handclap Band, was released in 2009 on Friendly Fire Recordings in the US and in 2010 on Tummy Touch Records. The album was also released world wide by KSR in Japan, Inertia in Australia, GOMMA in Germany, and Universal Records in the Philippines. The band was started by Daniel Collás and Sean Marquand. Both Collás and Marquand were DJs and production partners working around the New York City area producing records for other artists. The two soon starting writing and producing their own music. While recording original material, Collás and Marquand had help from various local artists to help record their music such as Aurelio Valle, Carol C, Jaleel Bunton, Jon Spencer, and Lady Tigra. In 2011, Phenomenal Handclap Band toured the US and UK with Bryan Ferry. Their second full-length album, Form and Control, was released February 13th, 2012.
What Are You So Scared Of? is the debut studio album by Australian rock band Tonight Alive, released on 14 October 2011 through Sony Music Australia. The standard CD version of What Are You So Scared Of? contains 10 pre-gap hidden acoustic takes of the album. Let It Land EP was released to accompany it; it shares the track "Let It Land", and also contains a new song and the three acoustic versions which were unable to fit on the album. Tonight Alive traveled to Los Angeles to record the album with producer Mark Trombino. As the follow-up to 2010's Consider This EP, What Are You So Scared Of? debuted on the Australian albums chart at No. 15.
Young Empires is a Canadian rock band that formed in Toronto in October, 2009. Initially, the group was composed of vocalist and keyboardist Matthew Vlahovich, bass guitarist Jacob Palahnuk, and guitarist Robert Aaron Ellingson. After a stint with Fritz Helder and the Phantoms, drummer Taylor Hill joined the line-up in late 2011. In February 2013, the band separated from Robert Aaron Ellingson, citing philosophical differences, and wrote and recorded the forthcoming debut album as a three piece.
A.G.Trio is an Austrian electro house group. It was founded in 2004 in Novi Sad, Serbia, during a combined tour of the founding members Roland von der Aist, Andy Korg & Aka Tell. The A.G.Trio is known for its excessive live-act and its remixes for popular Artists like Parov Stelar. In December 2014 they announced that A.G.Trio is on hiatus and presented their new project Ages.
