Lalita Pawar was a prolific Indian actress, who later became famous as a character actress, appearing in over 700 films in Hindi, Marathi and Gujarati cinema. She holds a Guinness world record of longest acting career spanning over 70 years. Pawar won the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress for her performance in the comedy-drama Anari. She featured in hit films such as Netaji Palkar (1938), made by Bhalji Pendharkar, New Hana Pictures' Sant Damaji, Navyug Chitrapat's Amrit, written by VS Khandekar, and Chhaya Films' Gora Kumbhar. This film Maya was made just a year before Asli-Naqli, but with a very similar story line. It was less successful in the box office compared to Asli-Naqli. But with the music of the film, composed by Maestro Salil Chowdhury and the songs penned by Majrooh Sultanpuri, the film was a big hit and was much liked.
Miss Coca Cola is a 1955 Indian Hindi-language romantic thriller film directed by Kedar Kapoor. The film was an early example of a brand being used in a film title. Some of the films that made use of the trade name were Shri 420, Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi, An Evening In Paris and others such as Taal and Yaadein. The film was produced by Danny Films and had music composed by O. P. Nayyar, with lyrics by Majrooh Sultanpuri. The film was one of the earlier Shammi Kapoor hits for lyricist Sultanpuri, who had earlier given popular lyrics in Andaz (1949).
Laash is a low budget Hindi horror film directed and produced by K. Mansukhlal. This film was released on 6 February 1998 under the banner of Sonal films.
