Carl C. Taylor is an American softball coach, that was the head coach at Drexel until June of 2021. [1] He was the first coach in Rutgers University history to win a national championship when he led the 2006 Rutgers-Camden Softball team to national championship victory in Raleigh, North Carolina, defeating the reigning National Champions, University of St. Thomas.
After the 2007 season Taylor retired after 12 years as Rutgers-Camden's head softball coach. [2] He was also drafted in the third round of the Major League Baseball draft in 1979 by the Pittsburgh Pirates, but did not play in a Major League game. In January 1981 he was signed by the Dodgers.
On June 22, 2015, Taylor was announced as the new head coach of the Drexel softball program. [3]

Rutgers University–Camden is one of three regional campuses of Rutgers University, New Jersey's public research university. It is located in Camden, New Jersey. Founded in 1929, Rutgers–Camden began as an amalgam of the South Jersey Law School and the College of South Jersey. Camden Catholic High School (CCHS) is a four-year comprehensive private coeducational Roman Catholic high school, located in the Philadelphia metropolitan area in Cherry Hill, Camden County, New Jersey, United States. The school operates under the supervision of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Camden. The school has been accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Elementary and Secondary Schools since 1934. Camden Catholic students come from the local area and from Norway, Nigeria, Italy, Germany, Mexico, Vietnam, Korea, and China. Dan Donigan is a retired United States soccer forward and former coach who played professionally in the Major Indoor Soccer League, American Professional Soccer League and National Professional Soccer League. Burlingame Dragons FC was an American soccer club based in Burlingame, California. Founded in 2014, the team played in the Premier Development League (PDL). The team was owned by Nick Swinmurn, founder of Zappos.com and a minority investor in the NBA's Golden State Warriors, and David Ebersman, former CFO of Facebook and Genentech. The team played its home games at Burlingame High School stadium. They were the developmental affiliate of the San Jose Earthquakes of Major League Soccer.
