Carl Schwarzen (born August 29, 1943) is a retired American soccer midfielder who played professionally for one season in the National Professional Soccer League.
In 1961, Schwarzen graduated from Bishop DuBourg High School. He is a member of the school's Athletic Hall of Fame. [1] Schwarzen attended Quincy University, where he was a 1966 Honorable Mention (third team) All-American soccer player. [2] That year, Quincy won the NAIA national men's soccer championship. In 2006, Schwarzen, along with the entire 1966 Quincy soccer team was inducted into the university's Athletic Hall of Fame. [3]
In 1967, Schwarzen became one of three native-born Americans to play in the newly established National Professional Soccer League when he signed with the St. Louis Stars. [4] In 2016, Schwarzen was inducted into the St. Louis Soccer Hall of Fame. [5]
Patrick "Pat" McBride is an American retired soccer midfielder and indoor soccer coach. He earned five caps with the U.S. national team and is a member of the National Soccer Hall of Fame.
Devlin "Dev" Reeves is an American former professional soccer defender who played in Europe and the United States.
Larry Hausmann is an American former soccer player who spent nine seasons in the North American Soccer League. He also earned eight caps with the U.S. national team between 1968 and 1972.

Carl Lowry Brumbaugh was an American college and professional football player who was a quarterback and halfback in the National Football League (NFL) for nine seasons in the 1930s. Brumbaugh played college football for Ohio State University and the University of Florida, and thereafter, he played professionally for the Chicago Bears, Cleveland Rams and Brooklyn Dodgers of the NFL.

Bob Guelker was an American soccer coach and administrator. He coached 24 years at the collegiate level, including coaching St. Louis University to five championships. He coached the U.S. teams at both the 1971 Pan American Games and the 1972 Summer Olympics. He was president of the United States Soccer Football Association from 1967 to 1969 and is a member of the National Soccer Hall of Fame.
