Carla Foderingham is a former television news presenter in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago. She is a former anchorwoman at CCN TV6, Gayelle - The Channel and Cable News Channel 3. She is also a former CEO of the Film Company of Trinidad and Tobago.^[1]

A news presenter – also known as a newsreader, newscaster, anchorman or anchorwoman, news anchor or simply an anchor – is a person who presents news during a news program on the television, on the radio or on the Internet. They may also be a working journalist, assisting in the collection of news material and may, in addition, provide commentary during the program. News presenters most often work from a television studio or radio studio, but may also present the news from remote locations in the field related to a particular major news event.

Trinidad and Tobago, officially the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, is a twin island country that is the southernmost nation of the West Indies in the Caribbean. It is situated 130 kilometres south of Grenada off the northern edge of the South American mainland, 11 kilometres off the coast of northeastern Venezuela. It shares maritime boundaries with Barbados to the northeast, Grenada to the northwest, Guyana to the southeast, and Venezuela to the south and west.

The Caribbean Communications Network Television 6(CCN TV6) is the largest private television broadcaster in Trinidad and Tobago. The station operates an analog composite NTSC 525 television system, broadcasting on channels 6 and 18 in the island of Trinidad, channel 5 on the Flow Cable System and channel 19 in Tobago. The station's studios are located at 35-37 Independence Square, Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago.

Carla began her television career in 1996 at CCN TV6 where she presented the morning news, alongside Julian Rogers. She then served as weekend anchor for the station, moving to the primary anchor desk in 1998 after the death of then anchor, Vaughn Salandy. When Gayelle - The Channel signed on in 2004, Carla fronted the station's major 7.00pm newscast. She was also a frontline presenter when Cable News Channel 3 launched in 2005. Carla juggled her anchor slot with her job at the Trinidad and Tobago Film Company for several years, but is now pursuing that responsibility full-time.

Julian Ernest Chetvynde Rogers MBE is a Caribbean broadcaster and journalist. He has worked as broadcast manager, TV and radio host and producer, publisher, trainer, lecturer, media consultant and public relations professional. Involved since the 1970s with the building of national radio stations notably in Barbados, St Kitts & Nevis, and Antigua & Barbuda, and part of "the original team set up to 'revolutionise' the media industry in Trinidad & Tobago with the rebranding of the Trinidad and Tobago Television Company (TTT) into CNMG", he has been called "the Caribbean man" and has established a reputation as one of the region's most respected media practitioners. His characteristic style as a broadcaster is to conduct biting interviews; one commentator refers to "the persistent journalistic exploits of a resurgent, sharp-witted and emphatic Julian Rogers".

Gayelle Television(Gayelle) is a privately owned television station, serving Trinidad and Tobago. The television station broadcasts on UHF channel 23 to the city of Port of Spain and has recently started broadcasting to Central Trinidad on UHF channel 27. It is available on the Flow Trinidad cable system as channel 7 and also on cable systems in Tobago and Grenada. The station offers 100% local and Caribbean programming, and much of its programming consists of live talk-shows. The station's studio is located at 13 Southern Main Road, Curepe, Trinidad and Tobago.

C Television(C TV) is the flagship television station of the Caribbean New Media Group, a state-owned media company in Trinidad and Tobago.
