Carlos Arroyo Zapatero is a contemporary architect, urbanist and critic from Madrid, Spain. His work claims to set the frame for a new architectural culture, language and aesthetics, through the ethics, technology and parameters of sustainability. He claims [1] that his architecture is not designed to be photographed, but to be lived-in and enjoyed through time. He has developed a diagrammatic graphic style for his presentations which is inspirational for a whole generation of architects. In contrast, his built work is often portrayed by photographer-artists, producing innovative formats like photo-novellas, [2] gif's, or video. His work has been exhibited in internationally renowned venues like the Venice Biennale (8th and 14th), the Institut Français d'Architecture, presented in referential publications like El Croquis, and quoted by many bloggers in the sphere.
Carlos Arroyo was born on June 14, 1964. In 1990, after graduating in linguistics at the Institute of Linguistics in London, he went back to Madrid where he studied architecture at ETSAM and received ISOVER award for best PFC (Master Thesis Project) of the school in the year he graduated, 1997. He holds a PhD in Architecture since 2018. [3] From 2000 to 2008 Arroyo was professor of Architectonic Projects at Universidad de Alcalá [4] and since 2005 at Universidad Europea de Madrid [5] where he currently leads a Master Thesis Unit. He is honorary member of Europan Spain National Committee [6] and member of Europan Europe Scientific Committee [7] since 2004.
Alberto Campo Baeza is a Spanish architect and Full-Time Design Professor at the Escuela Técnica Superior de Arquitectura de Madrid from 1986 to 2017. He retired the same year. He has built a number of buildings that have received awards.

In 2005 Andrés Mignucci was elected to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects. In 2012, he was awarded the Henry Klumb Award by the Puerto Rico College of Architects. In 2019, Mignucci received the Distinguished Professor Award by the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture, and was named Arts and Literary Arts Scholar in Residence at the Rockefeller Foundation's Bellagio Center in Bellagio, Italy.

She was Deputy Ministre of Housing and Urbanism in Chile from 1990 until 1994 and the director of the Metropolitan service of Housing and Urbanisation in 1997. In 1995 she became a consultant for the sustainable settlement commission of CEPAL until 2005. Between 2003 and 2014 she was the president of SELAVIP, an organisation that worked providing popular housing for developing countries in Latin America, Africa and Asia. She was trained as an architect in Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile and was named Doctor Honoris Causa by the Universidad Católica de Cordoba (Argentina) in 2011. In 2011 she received a prize for her academic career from the Chilean chartered institute of architects.
