Carlos Cabral Junior, also known as Junior Cabral, is a songwriter, producer, and arranger. Multiple Latin Grammy and Grammy Award winner, as well as music director for several Award-Winning World Tours. Latin Grammy nominations include; Album Of The Year, Record Of The Year, Best Vocal Pop Album, Best Ranchero Album, Best Norteño Album, Best Tejano Album, Best Vallenato Album. As producer/arranger/guitarist, Cabral has collaborated in more than 20 top #15 Billboard charting albums and singles.
Beginning in 1995 with La Trampa by Ana Bárbara, and after moving from Brazil to Mexico, Junior began his career as a producer in the Latin market. He then continued to work with Artists such as Intocable, Juan Gabriel, Lucero, Ana Gabriel, Nydia Rojas, Lucía Méndez, Julio Iglesias, Rocio Durcal, Pepe Aguilar, and Vicente Fernandez. In 2000, the start of his relationship with Ricardo Arjona resulted in his arrangement contribution to the album Galeria Caribe. Following the success of this album, Junior produced Arjona's top charting Album; Santo Pecado. Since then, he has collaborated as a producer/arranger and engineer in almost every album released by Arjona.
In 2002 and 2003 Junior produced Ana Bárbara #1 album Te Atrapare...Bandido, Ricardo Arjona's singles "El Problema" and "Minutos", the Santo Pecado album by Ricardo Arjona. From there on, Junior has produced top-selling and top-charting albums for Sony Music Latin, Universal Music, and Warner Music.
As a producer, arranger and guitarist he's been credited in more than 200 albums and has received +30 Latin Grammy Nominations and 5 Grammy Award Nominations, of which he has won 5 Latin Grammys and 1 Grammy Award for the album Adentro by Ricardo Arjona.

Edgar Ricardo Arjona Morales, known as Ricardo Arjona, is a Guatemalan-Mexican singer and songwriter. He is one of the most successful and best-selling Latin American artists of all time, with more than 20 million records sold. He is often called El bajito de sal, thanks to his breakthrough success with his fourth studio album, which bears the same name. His music ranges from ballads to Latin pop, rock, pop rock, Cuban music, and more recently a cappella performances and a mixture of Tejano music and Norteño music, and Latin sounds. Arjona is noted for his lyrical style, and often addresses topics such as love, sexuality, violence, racism and immigration.
Intocable is an American band from Zapata, Texas that plays regional Mexican music; specializing in norteño and tejano music. It was started by friends Ricardo Javier Muñoz and René Orlando Martínez in the early 1990s. In a few years, Intocable fused the genres Tejano and Norteño with a musical signature that fused Tejano's robust conjunto and Norteño folk rhythms with a pop balladry. Intocable is perhaps the most influential group in Tejano and their Tejano/Norteño fusion has become the blueprint for several Tejano bands. The group's style combines romantic, hooky melodies, tight instrumentation and vocal harmony.
María de los Ángeles de las Heras Ortiz, better known as Rocío Dúrcal, was a Spanish singer and actress with a career spanning more than four decades. She performed pop music, bolero, mariachi and romantic ballads and is widely regarded as one of the greatest Spanish singers of all time. Popular across Mexico and Latin America, she earned the sobriquet of Reina de las Rancheras.
Juan Fernando Silvetti Adorno, professionally known as Bebu Silvetti or simply Silvetti, was an Argentine- born Mexican pianist, composer, conductor, arranger, and record producer. In the 1970s he moved to Mexico and became a citizen. Popularly known for the 1977 instrumental disco hit, "Lluvia De Primavera", the album was produced in Spain and for the 1980 modern instrumental mariachi album. Silvetti was also a successful, Grammy-winning producer for a wide variety of Latin and international music performers. He was the father of six children, including the actress Anna Silvetti. Silvetti also worked in the music of successful films and telenovelas in Mexico.

The 13th Annual Latin Grammy Awards was held on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. It was the fifth time the awards was held at this venue and in Las Vegas. It also marks the last year in the Latin Recording Academy's contract where the Mandalay Bay Events Center hosted.
