Carlos Muzzio (born 21 August 1984) is an Argentinian rugby union player, currently playing for Rugby Pro D2 side Mont-de-Marsan. His preferred position is prop. [1]

Professional career

Muzzio represented both Vannes and Tarbes before joining Mont-de-Marsan in 2014. [2] [3] At the age of 36, he was named in the Argentina squad for the 2021 Rugby Championship. [4] [5] He made his debut for Argentina in Round 1 of the Rugby Championship against South Africa. [6]

The 2021 Rugby Championship was the ninth series of the annual southern-hemisphere competition, involving Argentina, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa. The Springboks returned to the tournament after a year out in 2020 due to South African government travel restrictions and player welfare and safety concerns related to COVID-19. The tournament returned to its normal window of August, kicking-off on 14 August and concluding on 2 October.
