Carnival Music Company is an independent music publishing company located in Nashville, Tennessee. Carnival was founded in 1997 by Travis Hill and Frank Liddell (Liddell produced albums for Miranda Lambert, David Nail, Lee Ann Womack, Brandi Carlile, Charlie Worsham, Jack Ingram, the Eli Young Band, and Kellie Pickler). Carnival celebrated its fifteenth #1 song in 2017 with Darius Rucker's For The First Time. Carnival Music is the parent company to the record label, Carnival Recording Company.

Songwriter Person who writes the words or music to songs

A songwriter is a musician who professionally composes musical compositions and writes lyrics for songs. A songwriter can also be called a composer, although the latter term tends to be used mainly for individuals from the classical music genre and film scoring, but is also associated writing and composing the original musical composition or musical bed. A songwriter who mainly writes the lyrics for a song is referred to as a lyricist. The pressure from the music industry to produce popular hits means that song writing is often an activity for which the tasks are distributed between a number of people. Shinedown American rock band

Shinedown is an American rock band from Jacksonville, Florida, formed by singer Brent Smith in 2001 after the dissolution of Dreve, his previous band. Smith, still under contract with record label Atlantic Records, recruited the band's original lineup of Jasin Todd as guitarist, Brad Stewart on bass, and Barry Kerch on drums. David Brent Nail is an American country music artist, and frontman of the band David Nail & The Well Ravens. In 2002, he debuted the single "Memphis" from an unreleased album for Mercury Records Nashville. Five years later, he signed with MCA Nashville, for which he has released four studio albums: I'm About to Come Alive, The Sound of a Million Dreams, I'm a Fire, and Fighter plus two extended plays, 1979 and Uncovered. I'm About to Come Alive is the debut album of American country music singer David Nail. It was released on August 18, 2009 via MCA Nashville. The album, produced by Frank Liddell and Mike Wrucke, includes the singles "I'm About to Come Alive," "Red Light" and "Turning Home." Nail wrote or co-wrote four of the songs on the album.
