Reception

The site has published news articles, commentaries and reviews regarding the animation industry. [4] The Comics Beat called it the "essential cartoon blog", [5] while animator Francis Glebas cited it as "the place to go for the latest in animation news". [6] [7]

Cartoon Research

Beck departed from the site in February 2013 and began writing for his first blog, Cartoon Research, instead. [7] [8] [9]

Augenblick Studios is an independent animation studio founded in 1999 by Aaron Augenblick, and located in Brooklyn, New York City. The company has created a wide array of animated shorts for television, film, and the Internet, with the target audience typically being adults. Their clients include Cartoon Network, Comedy Central, Adult Swim, the TED conference, PBS, MTV, and Nickelodeon.

<i>Dawn of the Croods</i> American animated TV series (2015–2017)

Dawn of the Croods is an American 2D-animated television series that is produced by DreamWorks Animation. The series is based on the 2013 animated film The Croods, taking place before the events of the film. It premiered on December 24, 2015, on Netflix. The second season premiered on August 26, 2016, third season on April 7, 2017, and fourth and final season on July 7, 2017. Sam Riegel was the voice director for the first two seasons, and Brendan Hay replaced him for the last two. It also aired on Family Channel and Family Chrgd in Canada.
