Cartoon Brew is an animation news website created by Amid Amidi and animation historian Jerry Beck that was launched on 15 March 2004. [2]
It also created Cartoon Dump , a weekly podcast showing poorly made TV cartoons featuring Mystery Science Theater 3000's Frank Conniff. [3]
The site has published news articles, commentaries and reviews regarding the animation industry. [4] The Comics Beat called it the "essential cartoon blog", [5] while animator Francis Glebas cited it as "the place to go for the latest in animation news". [6] [7]
Beck departed from the site in February 2013 and began writing for his first blog, Cartoon Research, instead. [7] [8] [9]
Paul Harrison Tibbitt IV is an American animator, songwriter, and voice actor, best known for working on the animated series SpongeBob SquarePants. After SpongeBob creator Stephen Hillenburg resigned in 2004, Tibbitt took the position of showrunner for the show. He also took over as the voice of Potty the Parrot, whom Hillenburg had voiced until his resignation. Tibbitt made his feature film directorial debut directing The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water. He studied in the Character Animation program at the California Institute of the Arts.
Christopher Mason Savino is an American writer, comic book artist, and former animator. He is well-known as the creator of the animated series The Loud House. Savino has also worked on The Ren & Stimpy Show, Rocko's Modern Life, Dexter's Laboratory, Cow and Chicken, I Am Weasel, The Powerpuff Girls, Samurai Jack, My Gym Partner's a Monkey, Kick Buttowski: Suburban Daredevil, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, Mickey Mouse and Johnny Test.

Dawn of the Croods is an American 2D-animated television series that is produced by DreamWorks Animation. The series is based on the 2013 animated film The Croods, taking place before the events of the film. It premiered on December 24, 2015, on Netflix. The second season premiered on August 26, 2016, third season on April 7, 2017, and fourth and final season on July 7, 2017. Sam Riegel was the voice director for the first two seasons, and Brendan Hay replaced him for the last two. It also aired on Family Channel and Family Chrgd in Canada.
