Castle Bingo
Castle Leisure has eight purpose-built bingo clubs in the area of South Wales and three others located in Barnes Hill Birmingham, Bootle Liverpool and Corby, Northamptonshire. The company built the first ever purpose-built bingo hall [1] in the UK, the Canton Castle, reopened on 26 May 2016 following extensive renovation work after a fire struck the building in July 2015. [2]
They company's bingo roots started with small traditional clubs in South Wales including Abercynon, Kenfighill, Porth, Ebbw Vale and Pontypridd. The last of the traditional bingo clubs was Pontypridd. In 2006 the company built their Nantgarw club which quickly become a flagship club for the company, serving the local community.
In early 2011 Castle Leisure expanded its South Wales Enterprise into England purchasing a further Three Bingo Halls and transforming them to resemble the look and layout of the previous eight. The newly purchased clubs are situated at Barnes Hill, Birmingham, Bootle, Liverpool and Corby, Northamptonshire. They have two clubs in Cardiff, the others are in Bridgend, Merthyr Tydfil, Nantgarw, Neath, Uskway Newport, Swansea, Liverpool, Birmingham and Corby. The Uskway club in Newport, Nantgarw and Neath Clubs seat in excess of 1,000 people.
Corby is a town and civil parish in the North Northamptonshire district, in Northamptonshire, England, 23 miles (37 km) north-east of Northampton. In 2011 it had a population of 56,810. From 1974 to 2021, it was the administrative headquarters of the Borough of Corby, which at the 2021 Census had a population of 75,571.
Cathays is a district and community in the centre of Cardiff, capital of Wales. It is an old suburb of Cardiff established in 1875. It is densely populated and contains many Victorian terraced houses. The area falls into the Cathays ward. It is the third most populous community in Cardiff, having a population of 18,002 in 2011.

It competes in the Indigo Group Premiership, that it won for four consecutive seasons between 2012 and 2015, and the WRU National Cup, that it has won on 6 different occasions, the most recent being in 2014.
The Taff Trail is a walking and cycle path that runs for 55 miles (89 km) between Cardiff Bay and Brecon in Wales. It is so named because it follows the course of the River Taff. Along much of its length, it follows the National Cycle Network Route 8 that continues to Holyhead, and is substantially off-road.

Golf is a popular sport in Wales. Although the sport of golf in Great Britain is most associated with Scotland, where it was established and developed, Wales can record its first courses back to the 1880s, and today has over 200 clubs. The first amateur golf competition was held in 1895, and the first professional championship was in 1904. Wales has produced several players of note, including one player, Ian Woosnam, who has won one of the Men's major golf championships and Wales has twice won the men's World Cup, in 1987 and 2005, respectively. Wales also hosted the Ryder Cup, when it was held at Newport's Celtic Manor Resort in 2010.
