The Catalonia Ladies Masters was a professional golf tournament on the Ladies European Tour that was held in Spain. It was first held in 2004 and dropped from the tour in 2008.
Karine Icher won the inaugural event on 17-under-par 190 with a score of 62-66-62 to break the existing record of 200 for a 54-hole LET event. [1]
In 2007, Ashleigh Simon, at 18 years and 37 days, became the youngest ever professional winner of a Ladies European Tour event as she won at (−8) with 70-68-70. [2]
The tournament was dropped from the tour in 2008 and was held as an unsanctioned Ladies European invitational event for 20 players. Rebecca Hudson, Paula Marti and Tania Elósegui finished 6 shots behind Lotta Wahlin [3] [4]

The Ladies European Tour is a professional golf tour for women which was founded in 1978. It is based at Buckinghamshire Golf Club near London in England. Like many UK-based sports organisations it is a company limited by guarantee, a legal structure which enables it to focus on maximising returns to its members through prize money, rather than on making profits for investors. The tour is run by a Board of Directors and a Players' Council. Most of the players on the tour are European, with members from more than 40 countries internationally. The tour operates tournaments across five continents.

The 2016 Ricoh Women's British Open was played 28–31 July in England at the Woburn Golf and Country Club near Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, northwest of London. It was the 40th Women's British Open, and the 16th as a major championship on the LPGA Tour. It was the tenth Women's British Open at Woburn; the most recent was in 1999, prior to it becoming a major on the LPGA Tour. For the first time, it was held on the Marquess' Course, which opened in 2000.
