Youssef Akdim, better known as Lartiste, is a French-Moroccan singer and rapper. Born in Imintanoute, Morocco, he emigrated to France at 7 years old, having lived in Bondy and later in Le Blanc-Mesnil, outside of Paris. At age 13, he became part of the rap band Malédiction and at 16 he adopted the stage name Lartiste.

L'Institut is a French hip hop collective, established in 2005 as an offshoot of Sexion d'Assaut, and associated with Wati B. L'institut was formed by various rap and hip hop / freestyle acts mostly coming from 9th arrondissement in Paris. L'Institut released the collective album Equipe de nuit in June 2013 that included in addition various collaborations with L.I.O. Pétrodollars, S.Pri Noir and Shin Sekaï. The group was dissolved in 2014, despite encouraging initial success with various band members concentrating on solo projects and collaborations.

Marwa Loud is married and keeps her husband away from the public's eye. Her song "Bad boy" rose to popularity after several videos on social media used the song over clips of English footballer Mason Mount doing his signature goal celebration.
