The Cebu City Chiefs are a rugby league team based in Cebu City, Philippines. They play in the Philippines National Rugby League. They were formed by Rene Payne and Clayton Watene.

Ciriaco "Cacoy" Cañete was a Filipino martial artist of the Doce Pares Eskrima Club. He was the last surviving member of the club, which was founded in January 1932. He was also a 12th degree black belt. His version of the Doce Pares Eskrima system is known as Cacoy Doce Pares. In 1951 he developed a personal system of his named Eskrido.

The United Football League, commonly known as the UFL, was an association football league, replaced by the Philippines Football League, based in the National Capital Region of the Philippines, governed by the Football Alliance (FA) in partnership with United Football Clubs Association (UFCA). In its last season in 2016, it was contested by 12 clubs and operated without a system of promotion and relegation with UFL Division 2, which was discontinued. McKinley Hill Stadium is an all-weather football pitch in the Philippines made of artificial turf. Developed by real estate developer Megaworld Corporation and constructed by All Asia Structures, Inc., it sits on a 15,000 square meter land in McKinley Hill, Fort Bonifacio, Taguig. The stadium has a seating capacity of 2,000 and is home to the United Football League (UFL). The Philippine Rugby Football Union signed a memorandum of agreement with Megaworld stating that the venue will be used as the official training ground of the national rugby teams.
