Celblok H (working title Wentworth) is the Dutch adaptation of Wentworth , the Australian drama series about a women's prison divided in two camps. The series, produced by Willem Zijlstra, was broadcast at SBS 6 between March 3, 2014, and March 27, 2017. The last twenty episodes are original scripts.
Suzanne Kramer (Suus for intimacy) is a hairdresser sent to prison for her failed attempt to kill her abusive husband. Lex Holt and Freddie Hendriks are fighting for leadership of the prisoners, and choosing middle-ground is no option. Suus struggles to make the right decision; she murders Holt and gets isolated for three months.
Freddie becomes the new topdog while the new directress, Agnes Binkhorst, appears to have a hidden agenda; ending the drug-schemes by any means necessary. Suus has her revenge on Lex's son Dylan, who killed her daughter; she gets life but also the respect of the other inmates. Freddie steps down to train as a lawyer, leaving Suus in charge.
The novelty of being top dog eventually wears off; Suus realises she is in deep trouble. Binkhorst wants to get rid of her because she has been used. An attempt to burn down the place leads to Binkhorst being imprisoned herself.
Binkhorst joins forces with Caat Bergsma, an angry feminist who succeeded in murdering Suus's husband. Meanwhile, her trial is suspended because none of the testifiers chose to appear in court. Suus manages to get Binkhorst framed after all, but gives her own life in the process.

Vanessa Fisk is a fictional character appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Frederick "Freddie" McClair is a fictional character from the British television series Skins. He is portrayed by Luke Pasqualino. In the third series, he is involved in a love triangle with Effy Stonem and his best friend James Cook. This causes a conflict between him and Cook, as well as their other best friend JJ. Lindsey Roscoe is a fictional character from the British soap opera Hollyoaks, played by Sophie Austin. The character made her first on-screen appearance on 3 June 2013. Lindsey had been involved in storylines such as covering up the murder of Paul Browning with Cindy Cunningham and Mercedes McQueen, having to choose between two brothers, Joe Roscoe and Freddie Roscoe, being revealed as the notorious Gloved Hand Killer, and teaming up with fellow serial killer Silas Blissett. In 2016, it was announced that Austin had quit the role and would be departing the soap later that year. Her final scenes aired on 18 May 2016, during which Lindsay herself was murdered by Silas.
Bea Smith is a fictional character from the Australian television drama Wentworth, portrayed by Danielle Cormack. She was introduced in the first episode of the series "No Place Like Home", broadcast in May 2013. Bea is notable for her storylines of being abused by her husband Harry, avenging the death of her daughter by murdering Brayden Holt and being the top dog in Wentworth Prison. Bea has had rivalries with Franky Doyle, Jacs Holt, Kaz Proctor and Joan Ferguson. Bea was the central character in Wentworth until her exit at the end of Season 4.
Francesca Rose Doyle is a main character, former protagonist and a former prisoner of Wentworth Correctional Centre. She served mainly as the primary antagonist for season 2, before becoming a protagonist for season 3. In season 4, Franky was released from Wentworth after she fought for her innocence, and began her career as a legal aide. She returned for seasons 5 and 6 as the series' main protagonist, until her release and subsequent departure from the series.
Jacqueline Holt is a character in Wentworth and serves as the main antagonist in the first season. Jacs was notable for being the first known top dog in Wentworth and for her rivalries with Franky Doyle and Bea Smith. Jacs was portrayed by Kris McQuade.
Jessica Warner is a fictional character from the Australian television series Wentworth, portrayed by Georgia Chara. She made her first appearance during the season episode "The Danger Within," broadcast on 10 June 2014. Jess was murdered in the final episode of the third season.
Joan Ferguson is a fictional character in the Australian television series Wentworth, who serves as the main antagonist from season two to season five. Joan is portrayed by actress Pamela Rabe. Her storylines centre on rivalries with Will Jackson, Bea Smith and most staff and inmates. She is introduced in Season 2 as the new Governor of Wentworth Prison following Erica Davidson being fired but becomes a prisoner in Season 4 and remained until the end of the fifth season. The character was presumed dead between the sixth and seventh season, when she was revealed to be alive in the latter. She returned in the eight and final season.
