Celebrity Head Chef is the second series of TV3's cookery series, Head Chef . The series features Conrad Gallagher, the youngest chef ever to win a Michelin Star [1] [2] and stars Wagner Fiuza-Carrilho from The X Factor ; Mary Burke, the mammy from Crystal Swing ; Adele King (Twink); Geraldine from The Apprentice ; Michael Hayes, the presenter from How Low Can You Go?; and former model Kohlin Harris. Contestants

As there are no eliminations in the show, the series will begin and end with 6 contestants. At the conclusion of the final episode, Conrad will choose the winner.

Wagner Carrilho

Wagner Carrilho was an X Factor contestant known for his charismatic performances and his unique personality. [6] [7] [8] After being rejected in the audition round, Wagner was called back into the competition as Louis Walsh's Wild card. He was eliminated in the eighth week of X Factor after performing in the final showdown with Irish singer Mary Byrne. [9]

Mary Burke

Mary Burke is the mother and keyboardist of the popular family singing group, Crystal Swing. [10] The group has appeared on The Late Late on RTÉ and The Ellen DeGeneres Show in America. [11] [12]

Michael Hayes

Michael Hayes was the presenter from How Low Can You Go? on RTÉ Two. [13] He is also the presenter of Animal A & E on TV3. [14]

Geraldine O'Callaghan

Geraldine O’Callaghan was a semi-finalist on The Apprentice on TV3.She was eliminated in the 12th week of the Apprentice competition. [15]

Kohlin Harris

Kohlin Harris was Ireland's first male supermodel, modelling for Calvin Klein and Versace who was scouted in Dublin aged 16. [16] [17] [18]

Adele King

Adele King is an entertainer better known as Twink formerly of a group called Maxi, Dick and Twink. [19] [20] She has also been described as Ireland's panto queen. [21] [22] [23] She is also respected in the sugar craft world. [24]

Maxi is a former musician and radio presenter in the Republic of Ireland. Maxi performed with two girl groups and the Irish supergroup The Concerned in the 1970s–80s, also representing Ireland at the 1973 and 1981 Eurovision Song Contests. After an automobile accident left her hospitalized, she focused on becoming a presenter for RTÉ; she retired from the broadcaster in 2015 after 30 years.

Maxi, Dick and Twink were an all-girl singing trio in Ireland in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Maxi is Irene McCoubrey, Dick is Barbara Dixon and Twink is Adele King.

William Cullen is an Irish businessman and media personality. He is regularly seen on RTÉ programmes such as The Late Late Show and The Frontline. Cullen was the owner of the Renault Ireland franchise until it was taken under more direct control by Renault in 2007. His 2001 autobiography, It's a Long Way from Penny Apples, covered his life growing up as a poor child in inner-city Dublin. Between 2008 and 2012, he hosted the Irish reality television series The Apprentice. His motor-trade business was put into receivership in October 2012.

Conrad Gallagher is an Irish-born chef/restaurateur from Letterkenny, County Donegal, based in Dubai since 2016. He was the youngest chef ever awarded a Michelin star at the time, for Peacock Alley in Dublin, at the age of 26 in 1998. In a career that has attracted both accolades and controversy, Gallagher has owned restaurants in Dublin, New York, London, Las Vegas and Cape Town, and has featured in two reality television cooking series. He opened restaurant consultancy Food Concepts 360 in 2018. Gallagher also owns chef recruitment agency The Chefs Connection and opened The Chefs Playground in Johannesburg, South Africa, in April 2020 as a culinary training centre and specialist shop for chefs’ apparel and equipment. In February 2021, Gallagher opened "Off the Menu Food Emporium", a delicatessen, coffee and wine shop serving tapas-style meals, in Port Elizabeth, South Africa. He also opened Bistro Vin de Boeuf, in St Francis Bay.

Crystal Swing are a new wave Country and Western, and Country and Irish showband, from Lisgoold, County Cork, Ireland. The family group is made up of mother Mary Murray-Burke and her children Dervla Burke and Derek Burke.
