Central Campus is a public magnet school in the Des Moines Independent Community School District supplying elective and artistic classes with over 2,000 students participating in their programs from high schools in Des Moines, Iowa. [1]
Central Campus provides optional elective and artistic educational programs for students in East, Hoover, Lincoln, North, and Roosevelt high schools, students from other schools can also make course requests. [2] Students do not spend the whole school day in Central Campus as they would in a traditional high school, students stay for the time of classes that they are enrolled in, later returning to the high school they are also enrolled in for their remaining classes. Students are offered scheduled bus routes to and from Central Campus and their high school. Students can participate in classes such as aviation, culinary, anatomy, marine biology, broadcasting and many more. [3] The school also offers many college credit courses from nearby DMACC, free of charge to students. [4] The campus has its own radio station (KDPS 88.1) led by its students. [5]

The school was opened in 1960 as a co-educational high school and was nominated to become selective in 1989, over the neighbouring Port Hacking High. Central Middle School is a middle school in San Carlos, California, United States, established in 1930. It was originally founded as the city's first school, with grades K–8, although since August 2016, it has served students in grades 6–8 only. The campus underwent a major remodel in 2015, yet still includes an auditorium designed by the Works Progress Administration in 1939, which is home to the biennial Chickens' Ball variety show, the longest-running PTA fundraiser in the United States.
Legacy High School (LHS) is a public high school located in Bismarck, North Dakota. Legacy was founded following a $55 million bond approval in 2012, with students attending classes at other locations run by Bismarck Public Schools while the campus was under construction. Before Legacy was established, the last public high school to open in Bismarck was Century High School in 1975. The school has a graduation rate of 96%.
