Adams County is the westernmost county in the U.S. state of Illinois. As of the 2020 census, the population was 65,737. Its county seat is Quincy. Adams County is part of the Quincy, IL–MO Micropolitan Statistical Area.
Walker County is a county located in the east central section of the U.S. state of Texas. As of the 2020 census, its population was 76,400. Its county seat is Huntsville. Initially, Walker County was named for Robert J. Walker, a legislator from Mississippi who introduced into the United States Congress the resolution to annex Texas. Walker later supported the U.S. during its Civil War and earned some enmity for it. In order to keep the county's name, the state renamed it for Samuel H. Today, the district is composed of five schools; Greenville Elementary School, a NASA Explorer school that serves grades Pre-K through 5; Pocahontas Elementary School, which serves grades Pre-K through 8; Sorento Elementary School, which serves grades K-8; Greenville Junior High School, a school that means to bridge Greenville Elementary and Greenville High by serving grades 6-8; and lastly, Greenville High School, of which all the schools ultimately feed into, serving grades 9-12. Palos Heights School District 128 is a PK-8 Cook County, Illinois school district located in the southern village of Palos Heights; the district serves Palos Heights Proper and the majority of its neighboring unincorporated areas. All in all, the district is composed of four schools: Indian Hill Preschool, of which educates the prekindergarteners of the district, serves roughly 7% of the district students; Cathy Leslie serves as the director of the prekindergarten program at the facility. West Richland Community Unit School District 2 was a unified school district based in the southern Illinois village of Noble in the western region of Richland County. On July 1, 2015, West Richland CUSD 2 was annexed into East Richland Community Unit School District 1, which then changed its name to Richland County Community Unit School District 1 on July 1, 2015.
The Cumberland Community Unit School District 77 is a unified school district in Cumberland County, Illinois. It is located in the countryside between the villages of Toledo and Greenup. The school district draws students from the towns of Toledo, Greenup, and Jewett. It is composed of three schools: one elementary school, one junior high school, and one high school, and altogether, as of the 2021–22 school year, accommodates 1,006 students. Students just entering the district first attend the Cumberland Elementary School, which serves them from kindergarten to grade five. The school also runs a pre-kindergarten program. Those in grades six to eight attend the Cumberland Junior High School. The graduates spend their last years in the district at the Cumberland High School, from grade nine to grade twelve. The principal of the Cumberland High School is Kevin Meynard. The superintendent of the district is Todd Butler; the nickname of the district junior high school is the Raiders, while the nickname of the high school is the Pirates.
Houston Community College (HCC), also known as Houston Community College System (HCCS), is a community college system that operates community colleges in Houston, Missouri City, Greater Katy, and Stafford in Texas. It is notable for actively recruiting internationally and for the large number of international students enrolled, over 5,700 in 2015. Its open enrollment policies, which do not require proficiency in English, are backed by a full-time 18-month English proficiency program and remedial courses.
