Cezar Augusto Hermenegildo (born 13 March 1986), commonly known as Cezar Augusto, is a Brazilian former professional footballer who played as a forward. He is Yangon United's and Myanmar National League's all-time highest goalscorer with 118 Goals.

Career

On 30 September 2015 Cezar Augusto scored his 100th MNL goal in a 2-0 win over Kanbawza, becoming the first player to reach this statistic. [1]

On 24 November 2015, Cezar Augusto signed a two-year contract with Bosnian Premijer liga side FK Sarajevo, [2] before having his contract terminated by mutual consent on 23 March 2017. [3]

On 11 May 2017, Cezar Augusto re-signed for Yangon United on a contract until the end of the 2017 season. [4]

The Myanmar National League ; abbreviated MNL) is the premier national professional football league of Myanmar. In 2009, the league replaced the Myanmar Premier League, which consisted only of 14 Yangon-based football clubs, with eight professional clubs representing different regions across the nation. On 16 May 2009, the league launched its inaugural two-month tournament, the Myanmar National League Cup 2009 in preparation for the first full season in 2010. Despite its national ambitions, the league held the MNL Cup 2009 matches in the country's two main stadiums in Yangon due to the lack of adequate facilities elsewhere. On 5 July 2009, Yadanabon FC defeated Yangon United FC in the MNL Cup final to become the first-ever MNL Champions.

MNL Cup Grand Royal 2009 is the inaugural knock-out club football tournament of the Myanmar National League. The tournament, held at the Aung San Stadium and the Thuwunna Stadium in Yangon between 16 May and 5 July 2009, was contested by all eight clubs of the newly formed professional league. Yadanabon FC finished on top, one point ahead of Yangon United FC in group stage. On 5 July 2009, Yadanabon defeated Yangon United in the cup final on penalty shootout, to become the reigning champions of the league.

The 2015 Myanmar National League is the 6th season of the Myanmar National League, the top Burmese professional league for association football clubs. The first round of the season began on 10 January 2015, with the last round ending on 31 October 2015. The Myanmar National League will be temporarily suspended for three months from 8 March to 22 June due to the 2015 Southeast Asian Games held in Singapore. The 2015 transfer window for Myanmar National League clubs will open from 19 May 2015 to 18 June 2015.

The 2015–16 Sarajevo season was the club's 67th season in history, and their 22nd consecutive season in the top flight of Bosnian football, the Premier League of BiH. Besides competing in the Premier League, the team competed in the National Cup and the qualifications for UEFA Champions League.

The 2018 Myanmar National League, also known as the 2018 MPT Myanmar National League, is the 9th season of the Myanmar National League, the top Burmese professional league for association football clubs since its founding in 2009. The departure of the two clubs from the MNL-1 disrupted the previous season. More disruption came when Nay Pyi Taw and City Yangon withdrew from the competition towards the end of the 2017 season. At an emergency meeting of the MNL committee on September 12, Nay Pyi Taw was expelled from the league after its players complained of not having been paid since April. The expulsion came after players boycotted a game in early September. An unsuccessful coup attempt in Turkey in July last year created a crisis for City Yangon that forced its departure from the MNL. It was a big disappointment for the club, which won the 2017 MNL-2 championship to end the season undefeated. MNL-2 third-place winners Myawady FC were promoted along with runners-up Sagaing United to the 2018 Myanmar National League.

The 2018 MFF Charity Cup is the 7th Charity Cup, an annual football match played between the winners of the previous National League and Domestic Cup competitions. It was held at Aung San Stadium on 7 January 2018. The match was played between Shan United, champions of the 2018 Myanmar National League and Yangon United, runner-up of the 2018 Myanmar National League.

The 2018 National League 2, also known as the 2018 MPT Myanmar National League 2, is the sixth season of the MNL-2, the second division league for association football clubs since its founding in 2012. At the end of the 2017 MNL-2, City Yangon F.C. won the MNL-2 title. And then, City Yangon F.C. and Sagaing United promoted to 2018 Myanmar National League. But City Yangon F.C. quit from Myanmar National League. So, Myawady FC auto promoted to 2018 Myanmar National League. City Yangon F.C. and Chin United F.C. abandoned their clubs. In 2018 National League 2, there is only seven will play for MNL-2 winner.

The 2019 Myanmar National League is the 10th season of the Myanmar National League, the top Myanmar professional league for association football clubs, since its establishment in 2009, also known as MPT Myanmar National League due to the sponsorship deal with Myanma Posts and Telecommunications. A total of 12 teams will compete in the league. The season began on 12 January 2019 and is scheduled to conclude on 24 September 2019.

The 2020–21 Sarajevo season was the club's 72nd season in existence, and their 27th consecutive season in the top flight of Bosnian football, the Premier League of BiH. Besides competing in the Premier League, the team competed in the National Cup as well. Sarajevo also competed in the qualifications for the UEFA Champions League and the qualifications for the UEFA Europa League.

Ivan Ikić is a Croatian professional footballer who plays as a right winger for Bosnian Premier League club GOŠK Gabela. Ikić started his professional career at Osijek.
