The Chad women's national artistic gymnastics team represents Chad in FIG international competitions.

History

Chad gymnastics began when Ramón Grosso, son of Spanish footballer Ramón Grosso and president of the Fundación Ramón Grosso, introduced Father Camille, a Chadian Jesuit, to Sylvia García, president of Spanish gymnastics club CGA Pozuelo. Grosso, whose foundation was already supporting football and basketball in Chad, decided to began a program to support Chadian girls in gymnastics. [1]

Chad officially became an affiliate member of the International Gymnastics Federation in May 2022. [2] They fielded their first team at the 2024 African Championships where they placed fourth behind Egypt, South Africa, and Morocco. [3]

Manrique Larduet Bicet is a Cuban artistic gymnast. At the 2015 World Championships, he won the silver medal in the all-around- becoming Cuba's first World all-around medalist. He is also the 2015 World horizontal bar bronze medalist, and he represented Cuba at the 2016 Summer Olympics. He is the 2015 Pan American Games vault champion and all-around silver medalist. He is the 2018 Pan American all-around champion and a two-time Pan American champion on the parallel bars At the 2014 Pan American Sports Festival he won medals in every event, including the all-around gold. He withdrew from the 2020 Summer Olympics due to a dispute with the Cuban Gymnastics Federation, and he now lives and trains in Italy.

Audrys Nin Reyes is a Dominican artistic gymnast. He is the 2019 and 2023 Pan American Games vault champion. He was the first Dominican gymnast to win a gold medal at the Pan American Games. He was also the first Dominican gymnast to win a gold medal at an FIG World Cup event when he won the vault title at the 2017 Osijek World Challenge Cup. He is the 2017 Pan American vault and horizontal bar champion and the 2017 Universiade vault champion. He is also the 2018 and 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games vault champion. He has qualified to represent the Dominican Republic at the 2024 Summer Olympics, the first male gymnast from his country to do so.

The Morocco–Portugal–Spain 2030 FIFA World Cup bid also known as Yalla Vamos 2030 was a successful bid to host the 2030 FIFA World Cup by Morocco, Portugal and Spain. The bid was first announced by the football federations of Portugal and Spain on 7 October 2020, with Morocco joining on 14 March 2023. On 4 October 2023, Morocco, Portugal and Spain were chosen as the host countries for the 2030 FIFA World Cup over the South American bid, with Uruguay, Argentina, and Paraguay being selected to host three inaugural matches on the occasion of the centenary of the 1930 World Cup. It will be ratified by the FIFA Congress in Late 2024.

This will be the nation's 18th appearance at the Summer Olympics, except for Moscow 1980 due to the United States-led boycott. The Royal Spanish Gymnastics Federation is the highest national gymnastics body in Spain. Its headquarters are in Madrid and its current president is Jesús Carballo. Founded by Narciso Masferrer in 1899 as the Spanish Gymnastic Federation, it is the second oldest Federation in Spain, behind the cycling one. The federation was one of the most important entities in the amateur beginnings of Football in Spain because it acted as the Spanish Football Federation until 1904.

The 2024 African Artistic Gymnastics Championships was the 18th iteration of the event and took place on May 3-6 in Marrakesh, Morocco. Both senior and junior titles were contested.
