Chadd Cassidy (born August 3, 1973) is an American professional ice hockey coach and former head coach of the Cape Breton Eagles in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
Cassidy played varsity hockey at the State University of New York at Cortland, graduating in 1995 with a degree in recreation and leisure studies. He served as an assistant coach at Cortland State from 1999 to 2001, and then at the State University of New York at Potsdam for the 2001–02 season. His next stop was with the National Sports Academy in Lake Placid, New York, where he was the head coach from 2002 to 2006, with his team winning the league championship in 2004. Next, Cassidy was an assistant coach under Ron Rolston with the U.S. National Under-18 Team from 2006 to 2011. [1]
On August 31, 2011, Cassidy joined the Rochester Americans as an assistant coach, and on February 20, 2013, he took over as head coach when Ron Rolston was promoted to coach the Buffalo Sabres. [2] He was relieved of his duties as head coach on May 1, 2015. [3]
He then became the head coach at Northwood School in Lake Placid, New York, from 2015 to 2021. In July 2021, he was named the head coach of the Omaha Lancers in the United States Hockey League, but resigned in November 2021 over concerns of the operations of the team. [4] [5]
Cassidy was named the head coach of the Cape Breton Eagles on January 7, 2022, and the eighth head coach in the franchise's history in Cape Breton. [6]
Kevyn William Adams is an American former professional ice hockey center and current general manager of the Buffalo Sabres of the National Hockey League. During his career, Adams played for the Toronto Maple Leafs, Columbus Blue Jackets, Florida Panthers, Carolina Hurricanes, Phoenix Coyotes and the Chicago Blackhawks, and was also a former associate coach for the Sabres.

Theodore John Nolan is an Indigenous Canadian former professional hockey left winger, former head coach of the Buffalo Sabres and Latvia men's national ice hockey team. From July 2017 until May 2018 he was head coach of the Poland men's national ice hockey team. He played three seasons in the National Hockey League for the Detroit Red Wings and the Pittsburgh Penguins. He also coached the New York Islanders, after serving as assistant coach for one season with the Hartford Whalers. On November 13, 2013, the Buffalo Sabres re-hired Nolan as interim head coach; he remained in the position until April 12, 2015.
Lindy Cameron Ruff is a Canadian professional ice hockey coach who is the head coach for the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League (NHL). Ruff was previously the head coach of the Dallas Stars of the NHL, and also the head coach of the Buffalo Sabres from 1997 to 2013, with whom he won the Jack Adams Award in 2006. During his playing career, Ruff played in the NHL for the Sabres and New York Rangers, the former of which he captained.

Chris Taylor is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player who is currently an assistant coach with the New Jersey Devils of the National Hockey League (NHL). He played in 149 NHL games with the New York Islanders, Boston Bruins, and Buffalo Sabres. In 2017, Taylor was named the head coach of the Rochester Americans in the American Hockey League, the affiliate of the Buffalo Sabres. In 2019, he was recalled by the Sabres as an assistant coach on an interim basis and returned to the Americans in late November, staying until June 2020.
Richard James Seiling is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player. He spent the majority of his 738-game National Hockey League (NHL) career with the Buffalo Sabres, but also played one season for the Detroit Red Wings. After his retirement he became a successful harness racer, coach and broadcaster.

He is currently the head coach of the Boston College Eagles, an NCAA Division I team competing in Hockey East. Previously, Brown was a member of the Eagles coaching staff for fourteen years from 2004–2018, serving as an assistant coach under Jerry York and later alongside him as associate head coach. He also coached under David Quinn with the New York Rangers from 2018–2021 and served as the head coach for the Dubuque Fighting Saints for the 2021–22 USHL season.
