Judaai (transl. Separation) is a 1997 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film directed by Raj Kanwar. It stars Anil Kapoor, Sridevi and Urmila Matondkar. Kader Khan, Farida Jalal, Johnny Lever, Paresh Rawal, Upasana Singh and Saeed Jaffrey feature in supporting roles. Poonam Dhillon makes a special appearance. A remake of the 1994 Telugu movie Subhalagnam which was inspired by the 1991 Kannada film Ajagajantara and the 1993 American movie Indecent Proposal, the plot revolves around the travails of a greedy wife Kajal (Sridevi), who lured by wealth, convinces her husband (Kapoor) to marry a second time.
Biwi Ho To Aisi is a 1988 Bollywood film, directed and written by J. K. Bihari and starring Rekha, Farooq Sheikh and Bindu. The music was scored by Laxmikant–Pyarelal. The film marked the on-screen debut of Salman Khan and Renu Arya.
Julie is a 1975 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film directed by K. S. Sethumadhavan and written by Chakrapani. The film stars Lakshmi in the title role. It also stars Vikram Makandar, Nadira, Rita Bhaduri, Om Prakash, Utpal Dutt and Sridevi, in her first significant Hindi role. The film was a critical and commercial success. It is a remake of a Malayalam film Chattakari (1974), which also starred Lakshmi as the lead making her Malayalam and Hindi film debuts in both versions respectively. She would star in yet another remake, the Telugu film Miss Julie Prema Katha (1975). She did not act in the Kannada remake, Julie, released in 2006, which had Ramya in the title role as Julie and Dino Morea as the leading man. She also declined the role of Julie's mother in the Malayalam remake titled Chattakari (2012), stating that she wanted the audiences to remember her as the young and beautiful Julie; the title role went to Shamna Kasim. Actress Urvashi portrayed the role of Julie in its Tamil remake Oh Maane Maane (1984).

It was the top grossing Hindi film in the year of its release, and one of the biggest Hindi film hits in the decade. Both the movies were made under the same banner and the director. The film was Above Average at the box office. Actress Nazneen received the film's only Filmfare nomination for Best Supporting Actress.
