Charlie Tector (born 28 March 2002) is an Irish rugby union player, currently playing for United Rugby Championship and European Rugby Champions Cup side Leinster. His preferred position is Fly-half. [1]
Tector was named in the Leinster Rugby academy for the 2022–23 season. [2] He made his debut in Round 7 of the 2022–23 United Rugby Championship against the Scarlets. [3]
He is the cousin of cricketer Harry Tector. [4] [5]
The Scarlets are one of the four professional Welsh rugby union teams and are based in Llanelli, Wales. Their home ground is the Parc y Scarlets stadium. They play in the United Rugby Championship and in European Professional Club Rugby competitions. The club was originally named the Llanelli Scarlets but was renamed at the start of the 2008–09 rugby season.
