Chavela Aaron is a former international competitor in taekwondo and karate. [1] She competed in the 1992 US Olympic trials and other competitions. Ribault River is a tributary of the Trout River. It is located entirely in Jacksonville, Florida. The river is named after Jean Ribault, a French naval officer. The river's headwaters are near Old Kings Road at an elevation of 7 feet (2.1 m) above sea level. The river cuts through the forest floor near its source, that portion of the river being classified as a creek. The river flows northward, as does the St. Johns River and many of the other tributaries of the Trout River. The river is 6.4 miles (10.3 km) long.

She is an alumnus of Alabama A&M University, where she won the Division II track title in the 100 and 200 meters three straight years, as well as running anchor on the 4 × 100 meters relay team at Alabama A&M.

Lee Ah-reum is a South Korean taekwondo athlete. She attended Seoul Physical Education High School and Korea National Sport University. She won the gold medal at the 2014 Asian Games in the women's featherweight category, defeating Mayu Hamada of Japan. She won the gold medal at the 2017 World Taekwondo Championships in the women's featherweight category, beating the Olympic champion Jade Jones in the semi-finals and Hatice Kübra İlgün of Turkey in the final. She has a history of participating in the Asian games.

On Sunday 25 July 2021, at just 18-years-old, she became the first American woman to win Olympic gold in taekwondo, defeating Tatiana Minina of Russia 25 to 17. She competed in the women's featherweight event at the 2022 World Taekwondo Championships held in Guadalajara, Mexico.
