Cheers Wines is a Chinese wine import company headquartered in Beijing with partner stores throughout China. It is a WSET APP (Wine, Spirit and Educational trust Approved Program Provider). The company's slogan is Cheers makes you smile.

History

Claudia Masueger immigrated to China in 2008 and founded a business-to-business wholesale wine company called MQ Wines. The Masueger family, originally from Switzerland, has been in the wine business since 1898. Masueger founded Cheers Wines in 2011 after the MQ Wines warehouse burned down. [14] Cheers Wines grew from 4 stores in 2011 to 39 stores in 2016 [15] after investment from the Swiss company Moevenpick.

In 2016, Cheers Wine opened at the Topwin Centre, in the heart of Sanlitun, in Beijing. [16] [17] The company received the "Most Potential Franchise Star in 2016" award from Entrepreneur's 500. [18]

Interwine China, also known as China (Guangzhou) International Wine & Spirits Exhibition, is a trade show in China organized by Canton Universal Fair Group Ltd. It was founded in 2005, when the customs duty on imports of wine decreased from 40% to 14%. It is a showcase for wine and spirits production, trade, and related products and services from abroad, responding to the need of professionals in the field for a trade-fair with strong international appeal and a strict business-to-business formula. In the context of China's rapidly growing appetite for wine consumption, it is the largest international wine exhibition in China and the only wine and spirits fair approved to exhibit at the Guangzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center in Pazhou. With her work Blue Parachute, Yin Yue won the Best Lyricist Award of the 25th Oriental Billboard. Yin Yue is also a recipient of Forbes China 30 Under 30 List, Class of 2019. On December 11, 2020, Xiao Juan, lyrics written by Yin Yue, was released. Other award-winning songs written by Yin Yue include "Silence".
