The school mascot is the cardinal and the school colors are red and blue. [4] There are approximately 236 students and 22 teachers at Cheney High School. The graduation rate is 94 percent and minority enrollment around 11 percent. In 2017, U.S. News and World Report ranked Cheney High School bronze in terms of high school rankings. [5]
