The Cherkaskul culture - archaeological culture of the Bronze Age, situated in the south of the Ural and Western Siberia. Named after the village Cherkaskul located Kaslinsky District of Chelyabinsk Oblast. Opened K.V.Salnikov in 1964. [1]

The ancestors of Cherkaskul culture were population of Ayat culture, which was located in what is now the north of the Sverdlovsk Oblast. The Cherkaskul culture's population interacted with the tribes of Andronovo culture.

Yuryuzan River river in Russia

Yuryuzan River is a river in the Republic of Bashkortostan and Chelyabinsk Oblast in Russia, a left tributary of the Ufa River. The length of the river is 404 kilometers (251 mi). The area of its basin is 7,240 square kilometers (2,800 sq mi). The Yuryuzan River flows into the Pavlovskoye Reservoir near Karaidel. It freezes up in the second half of October – early December and stays under the ice until April. The river is navigable within the first 16 kilometers (9.9 mi) of its estuary. Tarnogsky District District in Vologda Oblast, Russia

Tarnogsky District is an administrative and municipal district (raion), one of the twenty-six in Vologda Oblast, Russia. It is located in the northeast of the oblast and borders with Ustyansky District of Arkhangelsk Oblast in the north, Nyuksensky District in the east, Totemsky District in the south, and with Verkhovazhsky District in the west. Megaliths in the Urals

In recent years, many megaliths have been discovered in the Urals: dolmens, menhirs and a large megalithic cultic complex on Vera Island.

The 2013–14 Ural season was the club's 1st season at the Russian Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Russia, since their relegation from the league in 1996. Ural finished the season in 11th place, whilst they were knocked out of the Russian Cup in the fifth round by Tosno.

The 2014–15 Ural season is the 2nd successive season that the club will play in the Russian Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Russia, and 7th in total. Ural also took part in the Russian Cup.

The Polevskoy Copper Smelting Plant, also known as Polevaya or Poleva, was one of the major metallurgical facilities located in Polevskoy, in Sverdlovsk Oblast of Russia.

Valentin Vladimirovich Blazhes was a Soviet and Russian folklorist and literary scholar, Professor of the Ural State University, Doctor of Sciences, a member of the Russian Head Council for Philological Sciences. He was an expert in the fields of Old Russian literature, folk literature and folklore, especially the folklore of the Ural region, which he became interested in as a student. He studied Russian epic poetry, folk culture and language, workers' folklore, the Remezov Chronicle, the Stroganov Chronicle, and other Old Russian Chronicles. He authored a number of articles on historical, toponymic, family folklore.

The Turbasli culture - archaeological culture 5th-7th centuries b.c., it is located on the left bank of the middle reaches of the Belaya River, between the mouths of Sim and Chermasan. Opened by N.A.Mazhitov in 1957-1958. Materials excavation: New Turbasli settlement, burial mound in the Blagoveshchensky District, Republic of Bashkortostan etc.

The Mezhovskaya culture is an archaeological culture of the late Bronze Age. It was localized in the Southern Urals and named after the village of Mezhovka on the banks of the Bagaryak river in the northern part of the Chelyabinsk Oblast.

The 2015–16 Ural season was the club's 3rd successive season that the club played in the Russian Premier League, the highest tier of association football in Russia, during which they finished the season in 8th. Ural also participated in the Russian Cup, where they were knocked out at the Round of 16 stage by CSKA Moscow.
